Great location, nice layout, will stay again; only issue is the back door electronic door lock is ridiculously complicated to use (takes 5 to 10 tries to open) maybe think about replacing it. Nice towels and bathrooms, quality place, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

House was a wonderful space for our large family. Everything we needed was there and we had easy and quick communications with the host when needed! Someone even came and shoveled the driveway for us. Very welcome for these PNWers!

I chose this home because I live in the neighborhood and had 4 guests coming to town. The area is upper middle class with beautiful old and mid century homes. The main rooms (kitchen , dining room ,living room and bedrooms were clean . The house is listed with 3 full baths and a 1/2 bath. There are only 2 full baths. The 1/2 bath had cobwebs and spiders. The rec room shown in listing is locked.The kitchen had wine glasses and coffee mugs but only 1 regular glass. We did not use the stove, oven or microwave. The refrigerator dishwasher and freezer were fine. The door to the house is difficult to open. We called the host and he tried to help us through to get in. It requires a lot of strength to push open the door. The door remained difficult to open. Once you step into the threshold of the house you could fall down the basement steps because there is no door on the basement. There are throw rugs throughout the house that are not secured well to the wood floor. There is a rug in the upstairs hall several of us tripped on. My bed did not have a top sheet so I only had a blanket. I wondered when the blanket was last washed. There were no sheets in the hall closet and just a few towels lots of washcloths and lots of pillows. Took blankets off unused beds.The house has radiator heat. The radiators did not work in 2 bedrooms. The host did not respond to text.We found the dryer was full of items. Needless to say I was disappointed.

This house was perfect for our family of 8 with a toddler! we were all in town for a family wedding so needed a centrally-located place to fit all of us. Lots of rooms, plenty of bedrooms, comfy beds, great locaton and a well-equiped kitchen. We had a fabulous time and having this house to fit all of us was crucial to our fun. Communication was great and we had no issues at all. Highly recommend!

Family Wedding for 10

Overall, we had a great stay with 10 family members in town for wedding. The house is in a nice neighborhood (would feel very comfortable going for a walk), easy to find, and get to places in the Shaker Heights/Beachwood area. The pictures in the listing are generally accurate pictures of current house. Older house with unique character and charm. Bed rooms and bathrooms easily accommodated our group of 10. Large bathroom in master suite. Second full bath for 2nd floor bedrooms, and 3rd full bath in basement. Small half bath on first floor adjacent front door. Getting around house was easy with multiple staircases to both the 2nd floor and basement. As others have commented, we struggled to all find a seat together. e.g. dinning table only sat 8, so an extra card table was needed to have dinner together. There were plenty of coffee cups, but could use a refresh of other drinking glasses (again enough for 12 person rental).

Perfect Experience

Ard was the perfect host! Communication was lightning fast. The house is beautiful, and is located in a great neighborhood. We spent two weeks at the Green Road house for our son’s wedding. We hosted family members who traveled from California, North Carolina, New York, and Colorado. We had some erratic Wi-Fi and internet issues. Ard went above and beyond the call of/ duty to quickly resolve the problem. I highly recommend the house and host!

Shaker Heights Gathering

Our family chose this very large house to hold our annual family gathering. The parking was ample, the house was very spacious, and it was about 20 minutes to everything we wanted to explore. I needed more seating. We struggled to all find a seat together at any point during our stay. I wanted to see nice landscaping. As an avid gardner, it took alot for me to see the very overgrown landscaping. It was rather disappointing to see this. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful with lush gardens and well manicured lawns. I expected the same.

Perfect house for a larger group

This house was amazing and fit our family perfect. There were 6 adults and 6 kids from 8-15 yrs old. Everyone had plenty of room and a place to sleep. We love the style and charm you get from an older home. The house is in great condition with an amazing updated kitchen. The kids enjoyed playing foosball and billiards. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for taking walks or jogging. There is quick and close access to grocery and dining nearby. We couldn’t be happier and look forward to staying there again.

Conference in Cleveland

I attended a conference in Cleveland with 11 others; this was a perfect location. We had plenty of space in the house, with everyone having their own bed to sleep in. The three and a half bathrooms were plenty; amazingly, we never ran out of hot water. We were .25 of a mile from the transit train station that went downtown and only about four miles to local supermarkets. The neighborhood was well-established and quiet. We even had a couple of deer bedding down in the flowerbed beside the house.
