I took my two boys here for a quick, close getaway. The cutest little cabin with everything you need to feel right at home. I would say perfect for a couples get away or even a loner retreat (little boys can be rowdy and really, the place is adorable). VERY CLEAN... I almost didnt want to use anything!! The hosts were fantastic. They even stopped by to bring more fire starters and wood, but were not a bother in the slightest. LOTS of windows and in a beautiful spot on the river. Very quiet location and, except for one neighbor, it gets DARK at night. Booking and correcting my flawed date picking abilities was very easy. I can't comment on how communication was during the stay because we never had any need to contact them. The unit is old & needs updates, which was expected based on previous stays at a nearby/similar property...but the unit was not cleaned well. Mold in the shower, coffee pot had molded filter/coffee still in it, & a very run-down/not maintained feel about the place.
