« Room was fine. It was an upstairs room. It was a bit confusing when we got there cause there’s a gate that looks private but the host came out and walked us in. I’ve always done a self check in and was advised I would be doing so here so it was a bit off putting, but she was very nice. « It truly is an amazing place, by the lake with a wonderful view and amazing sunsets! Perfect to decompress, relax and go back recharged.
Maureen is just a fantastic human being, amiable and truly willing to give the guests the best possible stay. We will go back as the area offers many possibilities to enjoy outdoors.

« Kitchen table with 5 chairs were the only place to sit in the house. The a/c unit in the kitchen window did not cool the place. The area/town smelled musty & moldy. The house smelled musty as well. The ceiling fan looked like it was going to fall to the floor. Very dated. Cobwebs on windows. One of the florescent lights in the kitchen did not work so it was dark near cooking surfaces. Two members of our party have asthma and we did not feel comfortable staying due to possible health risks....

« If it weren’t for the kindness of the host, who accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout, I would’ve given this zero stars. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. The inside has rotting walls with actual holes, you can smell the mold and in one of the bedrooms it smelled so toxic like cat urine and chemicals - no one could sleep in there. The...

« This was a great place to stay. I gave 4 stars cause the room had a window AC that left a gap in the blinds. It was an easy fix (we shoved a pillow in that spot) and the AC was needed on such a hot weekend. Towels were big and soft. Bed was comfy. The room had plenty of space. I would definitely stay again! »
