"We stayed with our two teenagers and had a fantastic time. The house was very clean. All the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen were clearly labeled making it easy to find and replace cooking items. The covered deck overlooking the lake was maybe the best part and we utilized it every day. Speaking of the lake, the house is located on a terrific spot with quick and easy access to the lake. "Whst a hidden gem. We stayed here because we have relatives in the area. We had much needed peace and quiet. We brought a dvd player beacause not used to no background noise. The road to the house is long and secluded. Very nice place to stay."

"This property was perfect for our family get together. It was clean, cozy and well equipped. The dogs had a blast. We rented a boat and the dock was perfect. Other water activities were enjoyed by all and the dock was perfect for fishing We loved it!! Oh and the cinnamon rolls were super yummy! Thanks for a great stay!"

"We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation. "

"Just as described in their listing, this beautiful home on the lake was a perfect spot for our small family to enjoy a peaceful getaway. "We stayed for a week in August with 16 family members ranging from 11 to 87 Years old. House worked perfectly for us - huge kitchen, very larger dining room table, 3 bedrooms on ground floor for grandparents, and ready access to the lake for the kids. Plenty of games and quiet spaces in the house, and the owner was very responsive to all questions leading up to our stay. We had a great week! "
