"This is the third time we’ve stayed at Afentiko Pigadi and it was just as great as the first two times. I cannot be more positive about the entire experience. The pool is amazing, house is well equipped, area is quiet and perfect for recharging. But most of all, the people are amazing. Marios is the kindest, nicest and most fun person you’ll ever meet. "We had a wonderful week in the Goatshed. Fida and Chris are warm and generous hosts, and the accommodation is charming and full of character. Comfy bed, great shower, excellent cooking facilities. The terrace is a fabulous spot to linger at any time of the day. Koroni and the wider Messinia area are simply magical. Highly recommended."

"The property is beautiful and well equipped. The location amid the fields of olive trees is just amazing. The view on the bay is breathtaking. We have enjoyed quite a lot our stay. The only dark side is the check in process by a local greek employee which is terrible. No help at all for finding the house which is even hard to find for locals. "Thoroughly recommended. A really comfortable place with a great - and big - pool and huge verandas in each room. Looks pretty new and everything is in very smart condition and rooms very well equipped. Methoni castle and town are a pleasant 25 minutes walk (or 5 minute drive) through countryside and then along the sea shore. There are plenty of good restaurants in Methoni and the hotel gave us very good recommendations. "

However, sadly the fact that outside the entrance to our room were approximately 6 cats so we couldn’t leave the door open for fresh air. Such a shame as we were very happy with the accommodation."

"The property is excellent, exactly as on the on line description. The pool is smallish but deep and perfect for cooling off, our 3 kids loved it and there was plenty of room for the whole family to swim around in.There are new sun loungers and two very large umbrellas for much needed shade. The house itself is very well equipped. It’s located on the edge of a pretty little village, not far from a sandy beach at Stoopa or the lovely small town of Kardimyli."

"Great location that is NOT directly in Kalamata. 5 minutes drive down the street to all the action. No problem parking (in May). Staff were all extremely helpful and professional. Pool is very nice and big on a raised deck overlooking the beach which is right across the street. You can also walk into the action at Kalamata. Probably a 20 minute walk. I drove into town and was able to park in the large lot. Will recommend and return to this hotel. Only issue was the entrance for th hotel is on the side street and Apple Maps sends you 3 blocks away (sad that Apple Maps still lacks)."
