"What a place this is! We absolutely loved our stay at this stunning home in the beautiful McCarthy. We were very lucky to book this gorgeous accommodation, there isn’t a house like it in the area. It’s beautifully decorated, comfy, cosy and very spacious. The views of the mountains from the huge windows are unbeatable. On our first night we saw a momma moose and her baby! Kelly was very kind and helpful and we did a lot of his recommendations. We ate at The Potato and The New Golden Saloon, which were both great. We got the shuttle to Kennicott and explored the historical mine and did a couple of the hikes. Don’t miss the Root Glacier walk! This place really is an amazing retreat. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend to others. Thank you again for hosting us Kelly, we had a wonderful time. 😊"

"Lovely dry cabin in Copper Creek for 2-3 occupancy. Very clean, choice of fireplace or electric heater. Great host, quick responses. Well equipped."

"This place was very cozy. The owner Luann was very knowledgeable about the area. We wanted something not quite in the middle of everything and this was perfect. Explored Wrangell StElias NP quite a bit which was spectacular! Although this is no longer a B&B we knew that when we booked. There were other options in the area still open for the season such as Nummys in Copper Center, which was amazingly good!!!!"

"This a historic Roadhouse, reminiscent of my grandparents farmhouse. The new owners are bringing back the charm and history. Beautifully set on the river. Next door is their own bar and restaurant. Met some fabulous vacationers and swapped stories. "

"We were only there for one night but we loved the place. The "Little House" cabin that we stayed in was very nicely updated inside, with the true log wall exterior. The chickens, turkeys, sheep, and goat were all there. We live in the country too so this made us feel a little piece of home during our travels through the beautiful state of Alaska."
