"Good vicinity Very pleasant helpful staff Accomodation very good Good bar For a 4star hotel I would expect restaurant to be open at night - don't want to eat in a bar Need to look at H&S with showers. Have epilepsy - cannot have a bath. To climb over bath side with no grab handles is not a good idea. Difficult to get the shower working at an acceptable temp. Should have a walk in shower"

"We booked last minute and could only get a queen bed, but puzzled why such a small bed when the room was large and more than comfortable to have bigger, room was clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful, extremely busy on concert days and had to queue for a while for drinks, however the staff did try and serve everyone as quick as they could. The food was ok, no better than what I’ve had staying in premier inn.expected something a little better. Overall very clean and tidy and yes I would stay here again"

"This is our 2nd Visit to this lovely hotel. We only stayed one night 2 years ago but loved it so much we decided to stay this year for 3 nights The staff are so friendly, polite and helpful The rooms are a good size with lots of storage, although a bit outdated compare to the rest of the hotel. Plenty of parking The food was absolutely superb with a fantastic menu choice. Breakfast with lots of options, especially the fresh kippers which you don’t find in many hotels It’s in a great location with lovely views and if you like to play golf there is 9 hole, par 3 right next to the hotel and Beamish park gold course less than 10 mins away. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to staying again in the future."

"Good night sleep, kind staff and reasonable breakfast. However, the hotel has seen better days, it is very tired, the bathroom has mould and even if it had been cleaned ….we could say it was not “gleaming”. It was reasonable for the price but it was not near as nice as the photographs!"

"Our stay was amazing, the hotel looked lovely as we drove in. The staff couldn’t be anymore helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely meal in the rib house, the service and food were excellent. The spa treatment was much needed and enjoyable. Could not speak anymore highly of Ramside Hall"
