The unit feels brand new inside and (absent a hair dryer) has every possible amenity you could ever need. The neighborhood was way more comfortable than i expected having never been to the South side of Chicago before. The only possible criticism is the layout of the bed and the need for one person to crawl over the other in order to get out. We had a private apartment with easy access and no hassles. The neighborhood was very clean and quiet. We parked right outside and there was always space. The location is very accessabe by public transportation. The # 3 King Drive and # 4 Cottage Grove buses go to downtown Michigan Ave. The "el" is an easy walk to either the 43rd Street station or 40th & Indiana station. The Lakefront is close by and great for walks and biking.White Sox Park is only two miles and McCormick place is one exit down Lakeshore Drive. Hyde Park is also close. The area is primarily residential bot there were a few nearby restaurants notably the Bronzeville Winery on Cottage Grove and Truth Italian on Pershing (39th) for breakfast. I will stay here again. Access to Chicago is easy. ##### KEVIN W.
