The beds were all super comfortable. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the Rules of the House. I was born and raised in this town and the rules and regulations stated “No Local Residents”. We had initially planned on having a couple families over for pizza on Friday afternoon, but the rules said “No Parties or Events” and “No unregistered guests”. I must have missed it in the listing, but I wouldn’t rent this house again, even with the great location, unless the house rules were updated. Again, the house was great. The house is very charming and we had a wonderful time all being together, and celebrating my niece who was having a baby shower in Chicago. The host was very responsive and helpful with great restaurant suggestions. My sister left an important package behind and the host made sure to retrieve it and mail it back to her. School across the street that the grandkids used the playground on Sat & Sun. So, the washer & dryer were used too! There is another park playground down the street a couple of blocks too. We had 8 people in our group and the home was the right size, and perfectly located. The neighborhood is beautiful for walking and the people were friendly. The owners were very attentive and a pleasure to interact with. While we were gone all day and didn’t spend much time in the home, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Easy walk to Oak Park restaurants, shopping and public transportation. The home was well-stocked, including a high-chair and playpen for our granddaughter. We were initially concerned that the rooms had window air conditioners, but the house stayed very cool. The owners were quick to respond to requests and questions.
