“Lincoln Park is one of the wealthiest and most expensive communities in which to live. While the average single-family house is priced around $1 million, many homes in the area sell for more than $10 million. Forbes magazine named the area between Armitage Avenue, Willow Street, Burling Street, and Orchard Street as the most expensive block in Chicago.”

Q: Is the neighborhood safe? A: Very much so. 24 hours a day. Lincoln Park is considered Chicago's safest neighborhood with many family homes.
Q: PARKING? A: There are always open parking spots right outside on the street. In addition, we also supply parking stickers for zone parking on the street, but there usually is no enforcement. Not paying for parking in this area of Chicago is a huge plus!
Q: Do I need to bring towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, a hair dryer, or linens? A: Nope! we provide all these things.
Q: When can I check in or check out? A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who check out on the same day of your check-in.
Q: Can I come and go as I please? A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case.
Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests? A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.
Q: What's my total booking price? A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so we don't actually control this.
Q: Are the beds comfortable? A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on!
The 2 king bedrooms and main bath are all on the main level after walking in the front door so bringing in luggage should be easier than most. However, there are stairs throughout the home (main living/kitchen/dining is up a flight of stairs once entering and lower level living area/bedroom/laundry is down carpeted stairs). If it’s challenging walking up and down stairs, this may not be the best place for you. The private rooftop also is up another set of stairs from the main living/kitchen level.
There are CTA tracks behind the neighbors that live behind this home. This home has very thick windows and brick exterior where when the train passes, it’s NOT loud, but you do hear it if paying attention. We also have every sleeping space equipped with quality white-noise makers that null out any noise while trying to sleep. We think you will find it to be very minor the noise from the train, but we do have to note this. If you’re a very sensitive sleeper and need it absolutely dead silent, this may not be the place for you.
This is considered a single-family home, but there is a nice family that lives behind this home, so please be courteous. No shared walls, but the stairs to the rooftop are shared. They do not use, but please make sure no knocking on their door where this entrance is to get to rooftop. DO NOT go on top of their half of building when on rooftop (unfinished half). **Note: Their main entrance is along the left side of the house.
There is a NOISE MONITORING system within the home to track decibel noise level. Please respect our neighbors and do not get too loud outside quiet hours :)

Fantastic stay. Comfy beds, great location, clean and plenty of space. Tons of walkable restaurants and shops. We had so much fun and would definitely return. It is close to the L, however the sound machines drowned out any noise. We slept so good!!
Visiting with family and had a nice stay very clean, comfortable and spacious! If you want to stay and not drive, its a quick walk to the L. Neighborhood is lovely!
Nice conversion of a duplex into one substantial home with finished basement spaces, bedrooms &main bath on the first floor, kitchen/dining/living room on floor two, and even a rooftop patio. All very comfortable and functional, quiet even with the EL nearby. Location is excellent, close to many things, from groceries to theaters, but still with easy parking. A great base for our week long visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location and parking was easy. We were able to walk to Peet’s for our morning coffee and then Uber where ever we wanted to start our day! The house was very clean! Although we didn’t need much from the house itself, as we brought most of what we knew we needed, anything we did need was there! Definitely recommend this VRBO!
We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location was perfect - close to the L, shops, restaurants. The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The roof deck was a perfect place to enjoy some of the fall weather. Nicole and Matt were very responsive and awesome to work with.
In Chicago for a few days prior to Christmas. Very nice property. It met our expectations and we were pleased. We never used the basement/bedroom as there were just four of us. We would stay again. Location was good as our son recently relocated to the Lincoln Park area and was within walking distance. Didn't have a car so can't comment on the parking situation.

Great location, sewer odor issue not disclosed
Location of the property was great. There is consistent noise from the train as the tracks are behind the building. The biggest issue we had was the sewer odor. Because of that we were not able to take advantage of the second half bath or the basement bedroom. The odor actually permeated much of the living space. We contacted the owner, who was aware and suggested that we keep the basement bathroom door closed as that is where the odor emanated. Had we been aware of the odor, we would not have opted for this property.Furthermore, the description indicated there was a gas grill on the roof. We made a few meal plans around expecting that was the case. There was no grill.
Our group had a perfect experience at our stay. Top loves: the ease of the location, rain shower head, open living room/kitchen for relaxing and friends catching up.
Great overall experience. House is on a quiet one-way street and street parking was easy. Broader neighborhood was wonderful. Easy to walk to grocery store, CVS, Goose Island brewery, etc. While it didn’t bother us, listing should note that house backs up to the elevated subway tracks.
This property is in the perfect location with many attractions within walking distance, as well as bike rentals/CTA close by. The house is spacious, clean, and fully equipped. Central air and heating AND parking!!!! Communication from hosts is amazing, local recommendations and guides given as well as all the info to fully enjoy the property. I will be back!

Parking Pass not Provided as Promised
The listing stated that we could have a parking pass. I contacted the owner and he informed me that it wasn't necessary. The police were ticketing vehicles without passes every night we were there. Fortunately, we were given parking passes by friends that live close by where we were staying.
