Clean comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff. My five stars don't mean luxury, this is a simply a nice hotel. Five stars means they delivered on their promises. Would recommend a stay here if you're visiting NU. (Just a few blocks walk away)

I was disappointed by the overall age/wear of the rooms linens, etc. The lobby was ok but once you get into your room everything was old/dated or looked like a cheap remodel. Also, DO NOT let the hotel sell you there parking pass for the parking structure right next door. They charged us $24 when we could have parked there for $18 for the entirety of our overnight stay.

Hotel is in a great location. It's clean; rooms are comfortable and have the microwave/frig combo that is really nice. Although I checked-in online and had limited interaction with the staff, they were friendly. The parking was easy as well.

The first night in our room, the HVAC system made whining and whoring noise that made it impossible to sleep with the system on. Fortunately, the staff fix this the next day, and when we return to our room, it worked as advertised. The second night of our stay went well until about 1 AM, then a small dog started barking in the room next to us and continued to bark incessantly all night, even though we called the front desk and tried to get them to do something about it. All they did was call us back and said no one is answering the phone.

Loved everything from the breakfast buffet to the dispensary on the corner. Hecky's Bar B Q was within steps. everything was just fine. Oh, I forgot, I came to town to go to a conference at Northwestern. The hotel location was right on target. Thank you very much.

Amazing… Beds were so COMFY !! Best sleep ever . Walkable to great places to eat !! And parking was easy to get in & out of . Prepay your parking for however long you’re staying .. it makes it so easy to come & go

I booked a room here because my preferred hotel was full, and was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. The room was a double to accommodate my kid (an NU student, needing a break from cramped dorm space) and housekeeping was great about keeping the room clean and keeping him supplied with coffee pods. The downstairs desk staff were also very helpful and pleasant, helping me book a cab back to the airport and also helping with our room booking, which I extended for a few days for my son. Many thanks.

Friendly service. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Convenient location. The room did not smell very good - please use nice smelling cleaning products. The room smelled like wet rags. Not fresh. Bathrooms were clean.

It was a nightmare!!! I got there and tried to check in but they said I have to go other hotel because of overbooking late at night!! I had to pay lift more than 20 dollars back and forth but they did not refund it!! Its insane!!

Our stay was lovely! Parking lot was right next to the hotel and the hotel itself was located by dozens of restaurants. Definitely would stay again!

The staff were very friendly and professional. My only complaint was that outside the front of the hotel there was quite a bit of trash strewn about. It would be more inviting if someone kept an eye on the front door area and picked up any litter.

Great neighborhood everything you could need is with-in a .5 mile walking radius including 2 train lines (take about 1 hr to get to Chicago center) Staff was supper friendly and helpful we bought local bagels and toasted them at the hotel

Room was not ready even though checked in after 6pm. Young woman at check-in extremely polite and accommodating (grab whatever you want from the to-go section) Though I had requested a walk in shower was given an accessible tub. Would have requested a change but did not look at the bathroom until unpacking and relaxing so stayed. Minor maintenance is needed, but staff was wonderful.

Excellent front desk staff dealing with challenges on New Year's eve and the next night. Also excellent breakfast staff dealing with an understaffed situation. Give everybody a raise!
