The stay was short but enjoyable. United center is about a 15 minute walk so that’s very convenient. Staff was friendly and the location was to public transportation routes that take you right downtown. Would definitely stay again. Cons: rooms were small and walls were thin. If you’re a light sleeper it might not be quiet enough for you depending on who’s staying next to you. That stuff doesn’t deter me but figured I’d post in case some people are looking for that information.

Room was small and you could hear everything in the hallway and the room above when people walked. Friendly staff and nice to have fridge in room but the hotel can use some love.

Clean and efficient. We felt safe in this area to walk to area restaurants. Very close to the United Center as we were here for a hockey game. We brought the Amtrak and actually could have walked the mile from the depot but took a ride share instead since we didn’t know the area. The bed was small for us… full size instead of our normal queen at home but it was comfy and pillows were pretty comfy as well. The price was very reasonable for a Saturday night in Chicago. Very pleased! We would stay again!

The staff were all really nice, however the stay itself was not great. Just about everything had "out of order" signs on it - the office equipment, the gym, etc. There are no real food options nearby and the hotel doesn't offer coffee or breakfast. One night the smoke detector outside my door chirped the ENTIRE night. Another night there were either other guests or people in the lobby up until after 2am being really loud.

Check in is at 4pm and I arrived around 5:30 pm. I noticed there were many people in the lobby waiting to check in. Front desk stated that it would be like 15 mins for me to check in which honestly was okay compared to the amount of time others had to wait. The hotel apologized for the inconvenience and being short staffed. I received a gift certificate for a free night to make up for it. Overall, staff is friendly. Cleanliness of room was ok. Area itself is great considering it’s so close to the United Center. Would come here again!

The last two times I stayed there, no problem. This time… experience was so bad I won’t return. Paid double the price I did this time hoping I would get a better room. Nope, tv didn’t work, water didn’t work in the room. Had some guy yelling in the hallway at 4am using inappropriate language shouting “shut the f*** up” waking me and my daughter up. Had cop lights coming through my window and the shade didn’t work so that was nice to see for about 30 minutes at 5am. She felt unsafe so I stayed up and then when I talked to the front desk, they said they couldn’t put me in a new room because they were full. When I asked for my refund they refused because I paid through here. What a waste of money. I’m either never using Expedia again or never staying there again if I don’t get my money back. How do people get away with treating their customers like this??? Definitely not happy…

This hotel was perfect for our mini vacation! It was conveniently located within walking distance to the United Center, and the room was very clean and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable as well! I must say I was a little skeptical because it was a new experience for me, but it made our Chicago experience easy to explore. It was easy to get too, and not a lot of traffic. I was really surprised how quiet it seemed also! As a light sleeper, I slept great!
