« We, my husband and I stayed here last year and added my sister and her husband thia year. We were asked to switch cabins, not a problem at all. It was exactly the same. Everyone mentions the cleanliness and its true. The funny thing was my sister walked around the cabin and exclaimed, "it's just as clean outside." More than that, it is quiet with nature sounds all around. I love the front porch and the firepit area. Everything is top quality and so well maintained. We will be back. »

« The couple (I believe they are a couple) who own this place are incredible. So, nice, so accommodating, such a lovely couple of people. However, I do need to be honest. The place was not great. * Let me preface and say that I am not a high maintenance person, if there are scuffs, dents and dings in places - I don't care, that's normal. But, I do need to point out that the sheets reeked of cigarette smoke. It got so bad at the end of the night when I laid my head on the pillow that I needed...

« We visited 3 days as a family of 4 and never did they replace the towels, empty trash nor straighten beds. We had to ask for extra coffee for the morning (staff politely supplied) and the coffee machine in the breakfast area did not have regular coffee, just decaf. The room smelled musty and the wall air conditioner was not very cooling. »

« My husband wanted to check out Serpent Mound and other historical sites. Lisa and Phil gave us great tips about the area and were super friendly and helpful. The place is very private, beautifully decorated and you cannot beat the scenery! Cute town, Hillsboro,10 min away. We were hiking both days and loved coming back to a nice soak in the hot tub. »

« Everything was quite nice. Somehow I missed reading the entrance was up a set of old stairs of different distances between steps. For the young, no problem, but if senior, be aware it is challenging. My right knee is finally recovering. Please know lovely place! Remodeling and decor gorgeous! »
