"The location of the comfort inn is great and convenient for visitors to get around the shopping and dining in nearby towns. We loved the sweet tea and would have liked having sweet tea in addition to coffee in the lobby a few more breakfast items would be better. Our stay was comfortable and staff was friendly."

"Third year staying here. Staff is warm and friendly. They are always asking about your day, if they can help. Valet parking is easy-to-use: in,out or just need to get something out of your car. Continental breakfast is new. Everything fresh. Coffee freshly ground and hot. Rooms are clean and hotel is quiet."

"We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient."

"This hotel it a hidden gem. The breakfast was way better than I expected it to be. It had everything waffles bagels donuts fruit. String cheese. Was overwhelmed deciding what to pick. Air-conditioning worked well. No issue checking in Early around 1:00 pm to get to the gate at Do Good Fest for 1:30 pm when the gate opened. East to get in after the concert. Everything was excellent clean. Plenty of towels soap etc. even had spectrum internet. Only 15 minutes from National life group by. Car. Who needs fancy hotels in Montpelier. This was a very simple no frills hotel but simple in a good no hassle way. If I have another concert to do in Montpelier or Business to conduct I'd definitely recommend and personally stay at this hotel again. I can't say enough about how it exceeded my expectations and how friendly the staff was also."

"It’s a typical inn—nothing more, nothing less. To be honest, I haven’t stayed at an inn in quite a while, so maybe this is standard now. There is no daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it. Even after we did, I’m 100% sure the bed sheets were never changed. The shower water pressure is extremely low, although the water does get nice and hot. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch. The most ridiculous thing in the room was the “mini fridge.” It’s more like the tiny fridge you’d use to store skincare products. If you want an actual mini refrigerator, you have to rent one from the front desk for $10 per day. The on-site restaurant was also disappointing. Our waiter, Paul, was one of the worst servers we’ve ever had. He was rude, abrupt, and when I asked what the most popular items on the menu were, he appeared to read the menu while answering because he didn’t seem familiar with it. The food was bland and lacked seasoning, and my steak was cooked almost well done even though I ordered it medium rare. Overall, we were not impressed and would not choose to stay here again."

Romantic Retreat: Mt. Views, Hot Tub, Movie Theater

"Our family had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at the cabin. Everything we needed was there and we had fun with all the amenities like the projector and hot tub. I could sit in that porch swing all day reading! My son loved sleeping in the loft. Highly recommend eating at Maple Soul if you stay here. Jeff was a very considerate and responsive host. He was kind enough to give us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. My son loved meeting his dog, Chester. It was a very peaceful and lovely time away from home and we hope we can return sometime soon."
