"The home is very run down and so sad to see as it could be absolutely charming. Definitely overpriced and I was disappointed overall. Furniture is in keeping with the period but highly uncomfortable to relax on. Bedrooms are layed out consecutively- you have to walk through bedrooms 1&2 to reach bedroom three. "The lobby was nice and the staff was great - other than one desk employee not following through with making sure our room was cleaned when I asked for it to be. We had the unfortunate luck of a dirty bathroom (I'm talking urine on the walls and toilet) and a door that wouldn't deadbolt (my mother was extremely concerned) and couldn't get anyone to take care of it. One person said it would be taken care of the first night (well, the next morning - we were too wiped out to wait for anything when we finally got in that night) and after the room wasn't serviced or bathroom cleaned the next day (after 4:30pm), I asked again but housekeeping had left for the day...the desk agent said he'd take care of it and he did replace the towels and clean up some of the urine, but still.....quite the disappointment since this is always where we stay in Eunice and where I recommend friends and relatives to stay when they go...guess I'll need some new alternatives..."
