It retains many of the original features such as the tiled floors but is fully modernised and equipped . Surrounded by farm land, it is an ideal location for exploring the Chateaux and vineyards of the Loire, the natural beauty of the Brenne area or simply enjoying the many local walking trails through fields and woodland. The local markets, including Loches (Wednesday and Saturday) and Amboise (Friday and Sunday), provide the opportunity to sample the local specialities and there are many excellent restaurants in easy reach. The living room is a comfortable place to relax in any season. For the winter months, there is an open fire. There is a Smart TV so you can access your preferred streaming service as well as French TV channels, as well as a DVD player (DVDs available) and a music center. A selection of games and puzzles is also available. The kitchen / diner is fully equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. There is access to a washing machine in an adjacent area. There is a wood burning stove for the winter months that provides cooking facilities as well as central heating. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two single beds. A third bed can be provided in this room upon request. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, with shower and toilet. The house is not fully equipped for disabled visitors, but for people with reduced mobility there is a sofa bed in the living room and easy access to the bathroom downstairs. Outside there is parking, table and chairs and a BBQ. The garden is south facing and benefits from the sun until late evening. The garden is secure and well-behaved pets are welcome. We have dogs ourselves and our neighbours in the hamlet have cats and chickens so we ask that your pets are kept under control at all times. There is a second property adjacent to this one with its own garden and there is a shared laundry room between the 2 properties. Depuis le premier moment, la famille, de caractère très agréable, elle nous a donné toutes les indications et facilités pour que notre chambre dans cette maison ait été très gratifiant. Toujours présents à notre arrivée, et à l'heure, avec un respect exquis pour l'intimité, ils ont aidé à ce que tout il soit agréable et facile. Un dossier très pratique, a facilité les déplacements logistiques, et aussi les touristiques. Nous vendions sans rien préparation, et notre voyage a été une expérience impossible d'oublier. La maison a une décoration rustique d'époque à l'étage d'en haut, de caractère, précieuse. Les lits très commodes. La propreté impeccable. La cuisine, très pratique, a tous les outils dont un a besoin pour cuisiner et nourrir tranquillement une famille de 5 pendant une semaine, qu'il est le temps que nous avons été. Tout de bois à la zone de la salle à manger, et de caractère. Les dîners après les visites touristiques ont été très agréables. La contrée, une merveille. Champs et champs, chevreuils, oiseaux rapaces, forêts interminables. Nous sommes au milieu du rien, avec une tranquillité absolue, et entourés d'un patrimoine culturel impressionnant. Le contenu des châteaux que nous avons visités, a surpassé les expectatives (Murillo’s, La Tour, Le Brun, Veronés, Rubens...). La vision des champs, nous a remplis de tranquillité et énergie pour le reste de l'année. Ç'a été une semaine pleine d'expériences culturelles et paysagères. ##### Salvatella M. Le gite refait sur un ancien bâti en pierre très charmant Bien frais au RDC vu l'épaisseur de mur en pierre. Le gite est bien équipé de tout et très propre. Les propriétaires ont laissé même des jeux de société pour passez du moment en famille avec les enfans. Le gite s'est placé dans un lieu-dit très calme. Il est plutôt proche du parce naturel que les châteaux les plus connu, mais la durée de trajet pour y aller n'est pas non plus excessive. Des étangs pour se baigner sont pas loins du gite avec des activités pour les enfants aussi pour les grands. Le gite étais sur-parfait si on y planterait une ou deux arbres dans le jardin pour boire un verre sous l'ombrage à la fin de l'après-midi ou le début de soirée en plein été.
