Summer vacation for myself, my mom, husband, and two kids. Location was wonderful easy to get to, and to get around. Showers took quite awhile to get warm water, but that was the only downfall. The Palmetto impresses as a spacious 1840's house that has been completely modernized without losing the charm of it's original design. Convenience of a bathroom in every bedroom and totally private roomy bedrooms make for a relaxing stay. Add the separate apartment and off-road parking for two vehicles to make it exceptional in the area. Check in and check out through Stay duvet could not be made simpler. ##### Richard B. This was a perfect property & location for our group of 9 girls celebrating a big birthday! Blocks from King Street as well a super great Mexican restaurant across the street. We walked into the shopping/ restaurant areas a couple nights while we were there. Found the beds to be very cozy! The rooftop patio was so very relaxing. Neighborhood felt very safe. I would advise to put your heavy sleepers in the BR on the main floor. Sound from the street side of the house was apparently pretty loud. My only complaint was that several of the bathrooms were very small. We totally enjoyed our stay and hope to visit Charleston again. We had one issue with 2 nails sticking up from the floor. The house was everything we’d hoped for. The rooftop patio is amazing. Plenty of space for all of us girls to get ready. King street is super close and you can walk everywhere.
