This more than 7,000sf oceanfront home is located on over an acre of land on the coveted south end of Isle of Palms which creates a true sense of privacy. It comfortably sleeps 28 guests and has 10 bedrooms total with 5 being oceanfront. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms to ensure comfort, convenience, and luxury for all guests. There are expansive decks on multiple levels of the home as well as a heated pool (for an additional fee) and a private boardwalk to the beach. All areas of the home are easily accessible as an elevator services all the levels. The first floor offers an expansive open and light-filled living area, dining areas, and spacious kitchen all with panoramic ocean views. The kitchen is a gourmet's dream that includes granite counters, 2 stainless steel wall ovens, 2 dishwashers, Viking 5-burner gas cooktop, built-in stainless steel refrigerator, built-in microwave, an ice maker, and a separate wine fridge. The cooktop area is on a separate island and a huge prep island serves as an eat-in area with 6 counter stools. The main living area features 3 comfortable sofas, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, a huge 75” flat panel smart TV, surround sound, and a spectacular view of the ocean. The dual dining areas feature two large tables, one with 10 chairs and the other with 8 chairs. The large back deck has plenty of rocking chairs and is a favorite spot to enjoy a sunset cocktail! Six guest bedrooms are located on the first floor. Two of these bedrooms feature fantastic ocean views! They both have a King Bed, an additional twin pull-out sleeper each and a private bath with a tiled jetted tub/shower combo. Each has a TV, wood floors, and private access to the first-floor ocean side porch which includes plenty of seating with chairs and rockers. Two more guest bedrooms have a queen bed each, wood floors, and private bathrooms with tiled tub/shower combos. The last two guest bedrooms on this floor have one king bed and one queen bed respectively. The king bedroom includes a double-size sleeper sofa, TVs, wood floors, private baths with tiled tub/shower combos, and private access to the front-facing covered porch. Also on the first floor is a large laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, utility sink, and cabinets as well as a full-size supplemental refrigerator. The second floor adds the convenience and benefit of a second large, separate living area with plenty of sofa and chair seating, a game table with 6 chairs, large 85" flat panel TV, Roku, one double sleeper sofa, and access to 2 balconies. There is also a kitchenette with a granite counter, microwave, and full-size refrigerator/freezer! There are 3 ocean-view bedrooms on this floor including two master suites. Both feature king beds, spectacular ocean views, large flat panel TVs, wood floors, private access to the second-floor ocean-facing porch with a seating group and private bathrooms with corner Jacuzzi jetted tubs and large, tiled walk-in showers! The third ocean view bedroom has a king bed, TV, more of the ocean views you come to expect in this house, private access to the second-floor ocean-facing porch, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo. Rounding out the bedrooms is a guest bedroom with a king bed, double sleeper, wood floors, access to a private balcony, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. For your convenience, there is a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer to service this floor. Enjoy the ease of outdoor entertaining at the poolside with the addition of 2 dining tables as well as multiple lounges and chairs! A gas grill, ping pong table, multiple outdoor showers, and elevator are some of the other features of this home that is fully equipped for a luxurious beach vacation. We had a great time at this house and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. There were 17 of us and we had more than enough room for everyone. The location is great; it is literally on the beach. The waves were not very big while we were there and the inlet being nearby can cause some crazy currents, so we had to watch out for the kids when out in the water. We did have some inconveniences while there. 1\. The WiFi was terrible - Several of us had work commitments during the trip that required internet and it was difficult to say the least. 2\. There was so much space in the house that even with 25 people, we didn't feel on top of each other. The private access to the beach and the pool were great! We filled this 10 bedroom home and made so many memories! Having heated the pool was a great call because it was a cool week. We took several day trips and stayed & enjoyed the beach& home on others. There is a game lounge upstairs which we used for cards & dice at night! Did lots of cooking in the most beautiful kitchen. Huge TV that was enjoyed by my 2 y/o grandson & the guys at night!! Loved having my coffee on the deck in their rockers- so peaceful. The view is amazing. Saw dolphins daily on our walks on the beach! If we needed anything just sent a text and within an hour they were responding & usually taking care of the issue. Everyone having their own en-suite with the bedroom was awesome. Gated pool with a nice wooden deck to the beach was perfect with the little one! The ping pong table also got a lot of use! If we ever go back this way it is a perfect home for a large group!!. We were all really excited to stay in this home due to the amazing reviews and great pictures. However, about a month before our trip when I called to pay money (approx. $500) to have the pool heated, since we were going in early March, my complaints started. They informed me, with a few "I'm sorry" statements, that the pool would not be able to be heated due to construction that was happening to the pool. This was an extremely disappointing turn of events as my friends and I (all of us being from the midwest) were really looking forward to swimming and had paid more money for an ocean view home with a pool. After a lot of effort on my part, a lot of advocating for our group, and a lot of excuses from the rental company we were issued a partial refund. However, during the process they did also offer to cancel the reservation all together, which was also an unacceptable option due to the size of my group (20) and the nearness of the trip (a month out). They also offered to cancel when I mentioned writing a review, saying they'd be "nervous we'd write a bad review the entire time we were there". I would think this nervousness would have helped the following, when we arrived we learned from figuring it out on our own (no signs, no communications, etc.) that the ice maker was broken and molding, the refrigerator was not hooked up to a water line, so no ice there either, that one of the microwaves was not working, and on Friday (our first full day there) the pool had chemicals put in it which meant we were not allowed in the water till 3pm that day (again, heard from the pool company, NOT East Island Rentals). Overall the interior is a great space for large groups. It is spacious, well equipped, and nicely laid out. The rooms are as advertised. We were happy though that we were not at capacity as the pull-out sofas and twin bed chairs all had EXTREMELY thin and worn mattresses on them. FInding extra sheets and pillows for the one we did use was also a scavenger hunt. Everything about the house is a little worn and honestly, dirty. From a towel bar that fell off when touched, a grimy soaking tub , to cabinets that have paint chipping and doors hanging off, etc. EIR had a staff member come on site for another issue, when I approached him to talk he did not apologize for the things that were broken, inquire about our stay thus far, or thank us. The property felt like a vacation rental home; clean, solid furniture, ideal location, and gorgeous views, yet lacked some of the luxuries of a home (throw blankets, fresh paint, consistent internet throughout the house, and kitchen organization). The kitchen and spacious living room were the primary hubs and the multiple refrigerators were key. We paid for the pool heating, yet never felt any warm water and it never got past the point of a polar plunge. If it’s winter time, don’t bother. We did message the property owner about the pool and another minor issue. While responsive, the pool issue was not resolved. It was Christmas week, so likely a tough time to get repairmen on short notice. I would recommend this home to others as it was a solid home and location. ##### Kellen B. The house is perfectly set up for a very large group since you have 2 laundry rooms, 2 dishwashers, 3 refrigerators, refrigerators, et cetera. Being so coast to the inter coastal waterway also provided a large array of different wildlife and fish. My negative was for the cost of the house the landscaping doesn't look like it's been touched the entire year. The grass had not been cut. The pine straw did not look refreshed in the last several months and there were weeds growing around the pool up through the cracks in the concrete. Large ones. And the ice maker went out at the house and the gentleman who came to look at it were very nice but they pulled it out on the porch where we hung out every night and it was never repaired or moved from the porch. And the main freezer in the kitchen did not make ice or water. Rooms were all very spacious. Plenty of privacy! ##### Erin S.
