Spend the day enjoying the beach and pool or make the short drive to Historic Downtown Charleston. Nearby Mount Pleasant and Sullivan's Island offer shopping and restaurants, as well as historic sites to see like Fort Moultrie, Patriots Point USS Yorktown and the amazing Ravenel cable suspension bridge you can walk across. Stayed here with my 7-year-old while turning a visit to local family into a beach vacation; my parents stayed as well. The inside is cute, clean, and very well kept. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed in terms of pots, pans, dishes, etc. As a coffee addict, I was happy to see both a Keurig and a drip coffee pot. My parents said the pull-out sofa bed was more comfortable than most real beds, and the queen bed in the bedroom was also great. The porch/balcony was lovely and had several seats, but watch out for mosquitos when the breeze isn’t blowing. There was a beach chair and umbrella for use as well.Location is superb. It was a three-minute walk from the door, across the small parking lot, to the beach access, and on to the beach. It’s an easy walk to several restaurants and breakfast options, ice cream stand, beach store, etc. There’s a grocery store within a 5-minute drive, and a Target about 10 minutes away.We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or the laundromat (which takes credit cards), but they looked great and it was nice to have the option.Donna, the property manager, was very helpful and quick to answer our questions, and she made the stay seamless. ##### Christopher H.
