"My son and I (from Ct and Boston) spent a week chasing our roots from Buffalo to Walpole Island Indian reservation. Sharing your cottage with us made our journey that much better. The neighborhood was very nice, the neighbors were friendly, and the accommodations were wonderful! (Note for anyone who loves Thai food, Krung Thep Thai Cuisine should be at the top of your list! Highly recommend staying at this lovely home."

"It was conveniently located near 401. The ice water with lemon upon entry on a hot day was most welcome. Breakfast was very good. Nice hot showers."

"Inside was clean but outside was not maintained. Barbecue advertised as working but it was rusted and falling apart, extremely moldy, not useable and probably hadn't been used for years so we did not even try to use it. Window sills full of bugs and, likewise back of house on beach side and deck required 2-4 hours of cleaning to make useable and open windows for ventilation and comfotrtably use back deck We did not try to use air conditioning given the outside conditions and uncertainty about maintenance and filters cleanliness. Fire extinguisher needed recharging and front door screen latch rusted and freezes when closed potentially locking us out from door lock pad to get in, We needed to loosen screw on screen door latch lock to prevent this. Likely small septic field, so request to not flush toilet paper but put into garbage bags not advertised until after we signed. Location, on lake edge with breeze and close to birding marsh could be more enjoyable with proper maintenance"

"We had an amazing time staying here for the weekend. We brought our 6 year old son and it was his first experience like this.. he absolutely loved it! Ken and Tammi were so friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and we had lots of privacy. Beach was close by. They supplied our son with sparklers and lots of snacks. Thankyou so so much! We will definitely be making this a new go to vacation spot in the summers!!! "
