"The location was perfect. However the views in the listing were inaccurate. We could not see the ocean from the back seating area as the hedge was overgrown. The table was not in great shape. Inside the beanbags provided in the living room were filthy as were the curtains and they were also ripped. The bathrooms were dimly lit and only 2 bedrooms had any hanging space. We still had a great family holiday, but the overall feeling of the property was tired and worn. Some TLC would go a long way."

As described the walk to the beach is doable but pushing toddlers back uphill in their strollers is not for the faint hearted! There is a weekly car park rate in Porthtowan which is worth considering if going to the beach each day. Great vibe & food in the Blue Bar in Porthtowan a must visit if you can. Twin beds mattresses & slats not comfortable but hopefully after our visit mid June they have now been upgraded!"
