Enjoy the stunning views of the beach from the glass-fronted decking or the balconies in the main bedroom and the living areas. Get the barbecue going in your private outdoor space or lie back and relax on one of the recliners outside, perhaps making your way down to the beach for a refreshing swim every now and then. It's just a two-minute walk into the village and you can access the Coastal Path right from your front door. Everything you need is just a few minutes away. You should know There's a beautiful decking area outside over two levels with stunning views. Please take care on the wooden stairs, especially when wet. Perched on the cliffs overlooking Portreath Beach in Cornwall, this beautiful two-bedroom beach house really is just a stone's throw from the sea. Wake up to the gentle sounds of the waves and stroll down to the beach via the private resident's slipway. The main bedroom enjoys stunning views of the sea from its own balcony and there's a glass-fronted decking area outside which overlooks the beach. Being so close to the beach and just a few minutes' stroll into the pretty village, this is a wonderful location for a relaxing beachside escape. The living spaces feel bright and airy thanks to big windows and glass balcony doors letting in plenty of that beautiful coastal light. You'll find the dining table perfectly positioned to enjoy the view and you can put your feet up in the living room and take it all in from the comfort of the sofa. There's a fully equipped kitchen, however, on sunnier days, you might want to take the cooking outside to the barbecue. Downstairs, there's a garden/games room with a utility room, ideal for storing your beach gear. This leads out onto the decking and seating area overlooking the beach. The glass balustrade shelters you from any sea breeze while not getting in the way of that fabulous view. Lie back on one of the recliners or get something sizzling on the barbecue. There are two bedrooms, perfect for a small family or two couples. The main bedroom has an en-suite and a balcony overlooking the beach. Open up the balcony doors in the morning and enjoy your morning coffee in bed with a spectacular view. The other bedroom can be set up as a twin making it perfect for children or the beds can be joined to create a king-size. With the beach on your doorstep and the village just a short stroll away, you have everything you need within a few minutes' walk. Enjoy lunches at one of the local pubs or picnics on the beach before stretching your legs and tackling some of the Coast Path. Even a short walk up from Smuggler's Cove will reward you with some spectacular coastal scenery. The easy access to the beach and shops was perfect. Access to the property was ok but it is up a hill on an extremely narrow road (width of an Amazon van which managed to drive up and down!)and you have to go down to the bottom, the other side, to turn round before you can drive out, not for the faint hearted! Ocean's Edge is just as described and is cosseting yet spacious and of course, very comfortable with all the facilities one could need. The location is excellent as it overlooks the beach at Portreath. There are lots of good walks and places to visit nearby. The standard of the accommodation is first class.
