"Rooms was excellently renovated; all the comforts of home; great bed & pillows. High water pressure in the shower. Breakfast plentiful & tasty. Steep rocky stairs outside, so a warning those with physical handicaps climbing. Albeit, this is a historic location (including the stairs) and that is also the beauty of it. Huge outside yard to sit, eat, listen to music, watch the fire, etc. I had a challenge managing the heater, a set of instructions would had helped and/or I could had asked. The host was terrific. This was a very enjoyable stay with no complaints from me. We'll be back. "

"This is one of the best examples of a successful hotel “makeover” I have ever experienced. My last stay there (before the remodel) was less than satisfactory. This Doubletree Hilton property today is just amazing! Everything from the cleanliness, the staff, the amenities, every aspect is just a wonderful experience! Safe, clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic! It will now be my “go to” stay every time I come to town. "
