Chambersburg Visit

Cabin was very beautiful, comfortable and the location to eating and shopping was excellent. Especially enjoyed the time we sit on the deck. Will definitely stay here during our next visit to Chambersburg.

Birthday Getaway

The amenities were as nice as any place we've ever stayed. The location was great; secluded with cows as neighbors but only minutes from Chambersburg. We were lucky to have perfect weather and made ample use of the deck.

Great Cabin!!!

Our stay at this property was excellent. Nice quiet location and a beautiful cabin. All items in the property were top shelf, from the furniture to the faucet. Great communication with owner and I would recommend this property to anyone needing somewhere to stay in the Chamberburg area.

Lovely place for a couples get away

We live A few minutes away from this home I rented it because I was having a small gathering and I love the outdoor space and the look of the home when we arrived very clean and anything suitable needed for your stay was there. We will definitely rent again. Very pleased

Beautiful and quaint cottage

Loved our 2 night stay at Cedar Hill cottage. Secluded off the main road on a beautiful piece of property. Selena was a gracious host who was readily available to answer any questions we had. This cottage is full of amenities that we thoroughly enjoyed. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic Getaway

Our 2nd stay at this beautiful quiet cottage - last time was in 2022 and since then the owners have put in a new deck, new kitchen appliances, and coffee bar. Spotlessly clean as before, everything well kept up and in working order, and (what we love best) a beautiful quiet location. Close to Chambersburg stores & restaurants but you can easily spend the day enjoying the peaceful surroundings from the front deck or thru the front windows. Loved it, loved it, loved it and hope to get back again.

Absolutely stunning property

I was only in town for a couple nights and wasn't concerned about anything fancy. The price of this place fit the budget I had, but exceeded my expectations more than I can even begin to explain. I honestly didn't even want to leave the house. The loft and fire place and basement and porch were such a welcome surprise. And the location was so relaxing.

Serene escape

Beautiful house, incredibly clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view. Excellent hosts. Very well stocked, particularly the coffee bar and kitchen. Really, we felt like personal friends of the host. Plenty of books and games for all ages. Our family of four was very comfortable and had a wonderful weekend away from the city. Can’t wait to return!

We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Hill. It's located in a beautiful, quiet setting that's not far from local dining, shopping or attractions. The outside of the house is well kept which continues to the inside. When we entered, the first thing we noticed was how clean it was. It was obvious that a high attention to detail was used in the design and build of the cottage. It is well stocked with most of what you need and has a great coffee bar. We highly recommend staying here and plan on returning in the future!

Meet with my Dad

Sent a text saying awesome house, great design. Nice to be so far yet so close to necessities. Loved watching the horses across the street. My Dad used to show and jump Equine. TV is a little high up [neck stretch] yet it was great!

Great mini break

Direct and to the point. My wife and I travel quite a bit and generally stay in VRBO‘s this place is the nicest that we have ever stayed in. It’s very modern and the attention to detail amazes me. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and I’m taking pictures and notes as it’s going to help me build the cottage we want to build for ourselves. Highly recommend this location. Sidenote, it has one of the best beds I’ve ever slept on!

Repeat stay

The layout of this house is fun for my kids—with the loft and the spiral staircase—and works really well for my family. This was our second time to stay at Cedar Hill Cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as last year. The yard is well-kept and great for playing catch and paper airplane competitions.

Beautiful little Cottage

My husband and I decided on a weekend getaway for my birthday . This place was perfect. It was clean, quiet, with just enough room. A small family of 4 could rent this place. I will definitely want to rent here again.

Great Quiet Weekend

My boyfriend and I had a lovely, quiet weekend at the Cedar Hill Cottage. We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend and everything was clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze and the house was well stocked with neccesities. The surrounding area was really pretty as well, with great local restaurants and a relatively close drive to a few state parks where we went hiking. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Fantastic Getaway Cottage

Beautiful, very well kept up vacation home in a quiet rural setting. House was very clean, with up to date kitchen and appliances, spacious master bedroom, and fantastic loft bedroom with great view across the valley (and the sunrise, if you like to wake up early). Host was very helpful and easy to reach when there was some uncertainty about our plans. Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights there and definitely hope to return soon!
