Alan and Barbara are perfect hosts - warm, welcoming and thoughful- nothing was too much trouble and they anticipated and met our every need. The house is spacious and well-equipped and pool and garden delighful. The setting is fabulous - peaceful and relaxing with georgous views over fields and woodland and the foothills of the Pyrenees Audoise. Just outside Chalabre, the location is great for exploring the upper Aude and Arriege area...

"Loved the location for our journeys into the Pyrenees. Loved the old uniqueness of a centuries old chateau. Angus was a gracious host, amazing chef and has some great stories about the region and its wines. Should i come back, I wish to stay at the Chateau and take Angus up on a day of wine tours. Only thing I wished for in my room was a couple of big comfy chairs or a sitting couch. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this very nice location with ability to swim in almost private pool. The host (man) is very friendly and easy going. The facilities itself are okay but seem to lack a bit of TLC. This smaller of the two appartments is of decent size and enough for two adults and with foldable bed enough for a child (up to 12 years old).
