"We were up in Pomfret for a wedding in the area. Perfect location for us; walkable to a local cafe (Vanilla Bean) for breakfast. The place sits on a large piece of property complete with pond; beautiful setting, very peaceful. Plenty of space for parking; water pressure was great for showers and appreciate the travel size lotions, shampoo, etc ! Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend, especially for parents of students who attend The Pomfret School (boarding). Perfect location...

"I will definitely be staying at Two Tree Inn again. Price was very reasonable, comfortable and clean rooms and breakfast included. What more can you ask for. The only negative thing was the shuttle service to Foxwoods stops at 9. My opinion it should run until 11. Especially if you are going to the afternoon Bingo,"

"Our lunch on our arrival date was not as smooth as I expected. The server seemed new, maybe? and the bartender couldn't get one of our drinks to taste as it should. We were 4 but our server never noticed we only had 2 place settings so we had to get up and get them ourselves. Breakfast the next day was fine but again a bit off. One person asked for Earl Gray tea but was told they were out of it. However there was plenty in the station as you walk in where you get get your own coffee and tea. We got up and got it ourselves. Don't know why server didn't know to look there also."
