Pros: This location is close to the subway. Beds were comfy. They had a luggage storage you could use after you checked out so you could peruse the city luggage free until end of day. Cons: first thing we found in our bathroom was a cockroach. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom. The guy who did our check-in was super rude, he wouldn’t even give us instructions of how to get to our room. A grunt and mumble that couldn’t be understood. All the rest of the staff was nice. The elevator was SMALL. 3 of us with luggage was maxing it out, and it was very noisy in an unsettling way. So if you’re claustrophobic it might not be for you. There also were no good spots by the bed to plug in your phone. In reality, at the price point this is what I expected. But they could definitely stand to make some improvements As long as you go in knowing what you’re getting and using it solely as a place to crash while seeing the city it serves its purpose. The pho place across the street is good.

There are hotels that have "shabby chic" and there are hotels that, like this one, are just neglectfully shabby. What a disappointment for the amount of money spent on the room... that there is no real lobby is a structural choice they made, which is sad. That they refuse to turn the coffee station into a bar at night (when the outdoor bar is closed due to weather) is a poor choice, like they don't care about the guests... that they leave a window air-condition in the window when it's cold and have a tape keep the plastic together--and the outside noise and cold air come into the first-floor room, is a choice, as well. The curtains could use rehanging, the towels are so frayed that they tear, and despite claiming it's a "deluxe" room, there is neither light not end-table on one side (and you have to jump over the bed to get to your side of the bed (when coupled).
