"We absolutely loved this house. The neighborhood was peaceful & friendly. We spent lots of time in the back year in the deck or in the sitting area with a TV, the screen room, and the hot tub! My son loved the extra bedroom in the garage, and we loved the bed & rain shower in the master bedroom. We were down fo spring break, and to visit our son at TVCC. We visited Triple N Ranch Winery, Russel Stovers in Corsicana, the fish hatchery, and the aboretom botanical garden, & the TVCC rodeo. Our favorite thing was evening walks to the boat landing to see the sunset! Needless to say we can’t wait to visit again! "

"The property was clean but obviously an older property with dated furnishings and carpet. Only one of the lamps was plugged in and wall outlet was hard to get to. Our key card did not work and had to go to the desk and get another. The replacement card only worked once when wife went to get something from car. When returning to the room after breakfast, the replacement card did not work a second time. Lucky there was a repairman on the floor who let us back into our room."

"My friend and I had a great stay here. The property feels very isolated but still close enough to "civilization" for you to pick up what you need, forgot, or ran out of during your trip. We went to a local gas station got extra ice and water and were back in about an hour. We did have a few encounters with wildlife (I'm no expert but one seemed like a bobcat which followed us while we were walking the puppy in the early morning, and the other looked like a wolf which kept its distance but still gave us a scare). Other than that it was pretty peaceful. We had to move cabins the second day of our visit due to some black mold in the bathroom of the first cabin. But the staff was very willining to accomodate by providing a different cabin for us to stay. We over packed a bit so moving our stuff and puppy twice was a hassle but afterwards we were able to settle in nicely. The grounds are well kept. Aside from some minor rutting along the exterior roads, our sedan was able to traverse the grounds with ease. There are dog poop stations throughout for those who may consider bringing their dog. The staff were very attentive and stopped by everyday to replenish our destination package amenities (coffee, hot chocolate, smores kit, popcorn, and tea) and any other items we requested such as fresh towels and washcloths. The cabin was equipped with everything advertised and allowed for us to have a very pleasant "home-away-from-home" kind of vibe. Thank you to the staff!"

"We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this idyllic lakeside cabin! It was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for a couple. We loved the large outdoor area - there were tons of amenities to enjoy, including a covered deck and bar area. A lovely view, too. Highly recommend staying here!"

"AAMAZING FOOD TRUCKS OUTSIDE, THE SMASH BURGERS. I like how old management had grape foliage in the check in area, could use some more ambient lighting. kinda dark, we were in the upgraded units and i wish it had a roku or something for the tv, the tvs are really old and pixilated. the young man working there was very nice, these are recommendations and not complaints."
