Not very far from Rathbun Dam. The facility itself was OK. Seemed a little rundown, but overall would recommend.

Host was responsive and check in and out was smooth. Love how close to the lake this property is and good parking. Good WiFi connection. Property could be cleaner. There was leftover moldy potatoes wedges in the oven that I had to clean out. Main thing I did not like about this location is the train that came through every few hours throughout the night and day. Day was fine but very disruptive to sleep at night.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The location is close to the lake and also Centerville which made things very easy. The location is quiet and we had everything we needed.

Very clean property, just as pictured, well stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities, amazing deck to enjoy the evenings, and the Blackstone grill was a great surprise! We will definitely stay again.

Thank you so much for your availability. I am shorter therefore the mirror in the bathroom was too high, could barely see in it. I really needed a mirror in the back bedroom. Our stay was due to coming back for a funeral. The price was doable especially after the expense of airline tickets. Quiet neighborhood, very little traffic.

2nd Summer Trip to Rathbun

This is the 2nd time this summer staying at Journey II Cabin. We LOVE the entire experience - the cabin is spacious, well stocked with all of the amenities, clean, easy to get to. Fishing on the lake was "meh", but we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the cabin. Will surely plan on another trip (or 2) next summer!

Excellent

We had 4 adults, a 16 year old, and a 3 year old with us. Minutes from the lake. We had a couple of rainy days and the home had plenty of games and streaming tv to keep us entertained along with a close town having nice shopping and dining options. Spacious and updated home. Wonderful stay.
