"We came down for a family reunion. This was our first VRBO and it was excellent!! Everyone loved going out on the kayaks and just enjoying all of the nature and quietness.Will stay here again, but for longer than just 2 nights!"

"We took 2 rooms during a road trip, arriving close to midnight with our extended family of 6. We only stayed one night, mainly to rest, and overall it served that purpose very well. On the positive side, the place was clean, The beds were comfortable, and it was a very good value for money. We were able to get a good night’s rest after a long drive. The only downside was the noisy air conditioning, which made it a bit less comfortable during the night. Overall, it was a good short stay and met our basic needs for a stopover (at that budget price!)"

"The rental and the town are absolutely beautiful! Our only hiccup was that my daughter and I arrived at 8:40pm on a Wednesday night and the town was pitch black with not a soul in site. We were not able to see street numbers, making it very difficult to see where we were going. There is parking in back of units in a lighted parking area, which we were not aware of unit the next day when reading the house rules. I only wish we had been given clear instructions ahead of time on the exact location. I woke up on Thursday morning and walked around town, taking photos of all the quaint little churches, old movie theater and water by the marina. When returning from my walk, I purchased some sweet potato biscuits (their specialty) from the bakery just next door to the rental and was not disappointed. The unit itself was very spacious, came well equipped and was decorated nicely. I would definitely stay again."

"This cabin was impressive. We had the best time here. So quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean. Our check in was seamless. It is central to pretty much any attractions and beaches you’d like to visit. I am sure we will be back. This was perfect for our anniversary trip!"

Waterfront Oasis with Crabs, Oysters and Mother Nature

"Nice place out on the Eastern Shore! Loved being on the water and catching crabs. The pup liked being able to chase her ball and meet new animals (crabs, big shore birds). There are also deer, rabbits and foxes so if you have a "chaser" make sure to keep them on a leash. Close to beaches and parks, one with a dog beach."

"Finding the property was challenging. After traveling for 8 hours our online map kept telling us the location was approx 1 mile away at a vacant run down house. We had to call the phone number provided and at first the person who responded, seemed reluctant to give us accurate directions. Once I communicated my frustration, then she started helping us locate the long driveway next to a cornfield. We went up and down the road several times before we could locate the driveway.The only other negative was it seemed there was a pool available at some resort next to the property. This was not clear. The poolIs located at a KOA campground down the road. You receive a pass to go to the KOA once you arrive. This was a little misleading in all the marketing materials.Otherwise, we absolutely love the cottage and especially the location! It is a beautiful setting in the woods, located next to a huge salt marsh. The creek flows through the back yard between the cottage and marsh. Is you are looking for a place to “getaway” after a day at Chincoteague or ocean city, this is it!"
