The room is clean. And the breakfast area is clean. The hotel is just a little on the older side. So while it’s old, it’s clean. It was a great place to stay and a great price point. Our family of 4 stayed in a room with three queens. That was really nice to have three beds…Even if they were a little cramped. We were able to walk to the Shakespeare festival. Walking home after 10 PM at night felt safe. No problem with that at all. the breakfast was OK. I have celiac so I didn’t eat there.

Upon check-in I was immediately impressed by the ownership and appreciated the chance to meet with them directly. I was offered an upgrade at no charge. The breakfast spread had everything I could have wanted. The housekeeping came at an attentive rate. Very pleased overall.

The bed was comfortable. We turned on the AC to drown out the noisy street traffic but the AC was super loud so it was hard to sleep. We didn't try the breakfast there. There was no hand soap and no place in the bathroom to hang out towels. Otherwise it was ok.

Minimal breakfast items, very basic. Staff is friendly. Sheets clean but bed was not comfortable at all; no good sleep. Room was SO noisy - felt as though windows or door were open because you can hear absolutely everything outside. Bathroom was very clean, including towels (just a big threadbare). Lots of built up dust on floors around edges of the room and furniture legs.

Do not stay here. The shower was dirty, the toilet bowl was not clean and the seat had drips on it. The overall cleanliness of the room was picked up but all the surfaces were sticky. There was no soap in the room. We could not feel comfortable in the room and decided not to stay. No refund was given for the two days we purchased. Stay at your own risk.

Quaint and clean. It was nice NOT to be in a room accessed by a hallway with dozens of other people. I really liked having a single story building with a room that opened to the outside instead of a hallway.
