Location « Emmaüs » - A fuir.
Appartement 2 chambres numéro 4. Tout est meublé avec des objets de récupération. Sur le fond, je ne suis pas contre, mais les tiroirs ne peuvent être ouverts, la literie, les matelas des 2 chambres sont usés. La banquette clic-clac noire ne se mets pas à l’horizontal. Le réfrigérateur est un 80cm de studio avec la capacité d’un bac à glaçon. La région est réputée chaude et pour une famille de 4 personnes, ce n’est pas adapté. Tout est de bric et de broc, les ustensiles de cuisine ne sont pas assortis, idem pour les verres et les assiettes. Les ventilateurs à 20 eur qui ont fait leur temps et font un bruit insoutenable. Bref, à 100 eur la nuit, c’est inacceptable. Le parking c’est dans la rue, mais attention zone bleue. Seul point positif, la piscine de l’autre côté de la rue. J’ai loué pas mal d’appart hôtels dans ma vie, je ne pensais pas que l’on pouvait proposer un tel niveau de prestation. Le site internet porte à confusion, car il présente les photos de l’hôtel et de quelques chambres, les plus belles. Cela frôle l’escroquerie. Quant à la fin de séjour, pour le règlement, la personne de l’accueil était gênée de mes remarques. Je pense ne pas être le seul client mécontent. Et elle avait l’air d’avoir vécu notre discussion déjà plusieurs fois. 300 eur pour 3 jours de location. Franchement location à éviter. Sebastien.

Old place
We stayed for one night. No AC. Internet poor. Old furniture. We didn't care as we heading to south France and this was just in our way. Parking convenient in the street next to the train station. Staff very friendly.

Good setting, disappointing stay
A lovely little village with good bars and restaurants. The hotel setting is good and the pool area is lovely. We are a family of 5 and had booked a suitably sized room with balcony; we were given a room for 4 without a balcony and due to no one speaking English at all, we were unable to discuss correctly leaving my son to sleep on a 2 seater sofa (he’s 6ft). No complaints about the lack of English speaking by the way, that’s fair enough, but the room spec should be suitable. I opened a cupboard under the sink and the full door came off in my hands. Clearly this has happened before and just been balanced back in place. The beds were hard and uncomfortable however better than a 2 sweater sofa and we muddled through for 1 night. The hotel accepts dogs however when we stayed, the dog didn’t take kindly to bring left whilst its owners went out, so it barked until 1am. This could be a good hotel but needs to tidy some things up and eat it’s act in gear; the room was expensive at 105 euros, but had it been in good condition and with enough beds, it would have been value for money.

A nice hotel to experience the true French culture
My family of four stayed in a family room. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It looked pretty run down from the lobby area. But we were pleasantly surprised by the room. Parking our fairly large car (by French standards) was dicey, as the lot is quite small. But we managed. I speak very little French, and the desk man spoke no English, but we got by ok. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked decent enough. Overall, for the price we paid, it was a good value.

Typical small French hotel
Typical small French hotel, room was quite small but had everything. We couldn't get WiFi on our device. The breakfast was very good, lot of choice for a continential breakfast, you could help yourself to anything in the fridge. Nice town.

Had a nice room with a terrace overlooking the restaurant and pool (which is across the road). Fantastic 3 course meal. Caussade not the prettiest of villages but handy being right next to the train station for a trip to Cahor

J'avais réservé par votre site mais l'hôtel, que j'avais pourtant contacté par téléphone pour confirmer, ne m'avait pas fourni le code d'entrée dans le bâtiment. Toutefois, une personne à l'extérieur m'a dit m'attendre et est venue vers moi pour me le communiquer et me faire entrer. Le seul bémol est le manque d'insonorisation. Mais j'ai appris que cet hôtel devrait fermer définitivement ses portes début décembre.
