"As we were older visitors we found that the villa had too many curved stairs and we had difficulty keeping the villa warm. The north facing balcony wasn’t in the sun but the upper terrace did provide some seating area. However this was February/ March. The upgrades to the villa that have been completed were very good."

Arrived to find a dog in a crate on the upstairs terrace, someone's clothes in the apartment, generally it looked like it needed a good clean. I contacted the owner to say that her friends were staying in the apartment and they'd collect the dog the following morning. The views from the property are stunning and the only noise you'll hear at night is the local farmer moving his sheep in the valley below. It's certainly remote!
