ALIN MARIUS

Palazzo del Vicerè

Lezzeno

10/10 Excellent

Staff and Owner were very accommodating and kind, yet very respectful of the guests stay. This is one of the best experience of my 3 week solo travel in Switzerland and Italy. Brilliant restoration of a family villa with unique hospitality. From check in to check out it was a highlight of my travels. Suggest getting tickets for ferry from Como to Lezzono early in the morning to avoid long queue. Also, taking bus back to Como, in am, is often full. Best to travel with smaller suitcases for...

Villa Costanza

Maggianico

10/10 Excellent

Villa Costanza was an incredible holiday! We loved Donatella and her family. They were so incredibly kind and truly run the best bed and breakfast out there! They ensure you have everything you need from taxis to restaurant reservations. Blevio is located beautifully on the lake, and the views from the room are BREATHTAKING! It is close to Como city, and not far to get to the tip of Como Lake. Book! You will not regret it.

Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como

Cazzanore

10/10 Excellent

I don’t normally leave such detailed reviews, but in this case, it’s definitely warranted. Where do I even begin? The Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como was absolutely incredible and, without question, one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy! We were travelling through Italy and booked only two nights at the Mandarin, but if we were planning the trip again, we would definitely stay at least one night longer. The hotel lived up to its name, which is synonymous with exceptional service,...

The drive up and down is scary at best, unless you are used to driving hairpin turns and blind curves. It was an experience to say the least. Once there it is absolutely lovely! We are please we chose this location. It was incredibly peaceful and the views are magnificent. The staff were very accommodating an happy to help. The whole place was clean and kept well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
