The Sea Cottage Quarterdeck is an up-market one bedroomed holiday home located on the hillside above Fish Hoek beach, situated between the historical Simon's Town and quaint Kalk Bay. It is suitable for an idividual or a couple seeking a comfortable base from which to explore the wonders of the Cape. There is easy access to the beach, restaurants, shops and public ransport. Hikers can explore the Elsiespeak mountain above the house or one of the other trails within the Table Mountain National Park. The unit is on two levels, with the sunny living area and sea view balcony on top and the bedroom and bathroom below. The kitchenette is modern and equipped with new appliances including an induction hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and under-counter fridge. There is ample parking available on the road near the entrance with a staircase to the unit. The cottage was very clean, quiet and offered a view of Fishhoek beach. Lovely house , beautiful views of Fish Hoek beach and surrounding areas. Ideal location to use as a base and very close to the main shopping area. The facilities provided were first class and the sleeping areas were light and airy. One thing to mention is the many stairs ( approx 70 ), via a private stairway, to get to the beach road. The stairs to get to the main road at the top , to get to the car was also approx 60 stairs. There was however a funicular lift which took you there , albeit very slowly. This obviously didn't work during load shedding. Something to bear in mind if any potential occupants are not able to climb said stairs during load shedding. Overall a great place for a couple or 2 to stay. Would highly recommend . Mark and Sarah were very attentive and communicative during our stay. ##### Gordon M.
