No frills
Really nice staff but EXTREMELY no frills. Prices were 10x higher than usual bc of the Cannes Lions.

ok ish
We had 2 rooms.1 was small but adequate.this was overlooking the back,so was quiet, the other was larger but facing the street which was very busy and noisy until the early hours.The breakfast was described as continental but was just a selection of bread jam & coffee.It was an overnight stay so was ok & reasonable priced for the location ( 5 mins to the beach)

Thank you for your comment. The hotel is in the nightlife area of Cannes so unfortunately it can be quite noisy sometimes, I apologize for the inconvenient. I understand you will prefer a more British breakfast but we are in France so we will serve a French Breakfast ( croissant, pain au chocolat etc. ). It is good when you travel to try new things.

Overnight stop. Hotel was very tidy and clean, close to everything. No lift in these old buildings and parking building a short distance away. If you don't mind that and a little nightlife noise then this is a great place, so close to everything. We would stay here again.

Party scene in Cannes
We came to Cannes Lions last minute, and got amazing value! But the neighborhood is so loud its hard to sleep before 4 am. Luckily we did not have to wake up early.

Great location!
The hotel is located near the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. The staff was very helpful on providing additional information as well as during check in/out. The room is small but confortable. The idea was not to spend vacation in the room anyway! Room was very clean too. I would recommend this hotel.

Small but very clean. Friendly Staff.
Being Europe we can assume the room is small. However for a single room I got a full bed! not that common. The hotel is run by these very friendly British people. Room was very clean, the only issue what that it had no elevator and I was in the 2nd floor. Not too bad.

Undortunately I cannot compare with other 2 star hotels as this is my first but this hotel should not have any rating. The installations were horrible, it was not very clean and it was just way too small. However, it is very well located and the staff were super friendly which I believe is important for some fellow travelers.

Small but good hotel
Conveniently located , short walk to train or bus station, between main shopping street and the beach worked for me. Double room was small but comfortable and very clean, good size bathroom with shower only, towels changed daily. Please be aware that bathroom in double room has one wall made entirely of glass! Good idea for more light inside but may be uncomfortable for some persons (friends in double room?) not overlooked from bed or door side however. Air conditioning works well with heating option for chilly nights. Continental breakfast is simple but may be not enough for full english lovers. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area so you can find nice place for eating out as hotel has no restaurant. Nice addition is an electric shutter (quite common in France) in the window which virtually cut off all the noise and light from outside by press of a button.

Newly refurbished hotel, central Cannes great VFM
Cannes hotels are notoriously expensive, so this one is a good alternative. Nice, friendly service. Central location in Cannes, quick walking distance to the bars, restaurants, and (window!) shopping. The room was very small, but clean and comfortable. If only the walls were not so thin, and if they find a way so the doors do not bang when they close. It woke me up several times. Very near the train station. Please try the boulangerie in front of the station -- it is fabulously yummy.

Great Location
Great location, Hotel has been newly renovated. There is a bar outside so I was woken up one night. Rooms are quite small, but it is value for money. I would stay again!

The aircon in your room is working very well once put on the right setting and we have had no problems since your departure. Positivi- Molto gentile proprietario, sempre disponibili, in vicino al mare e negozi, posizione perfetto. Buon Prezzo ! Negativo - camere molto Picolo, rumore di bar/s in vicino( opzione di spostare la camera sul 2 piano) primo giorno non hanno pulito la camera, pattumiera ( bidoni) in camera e bagno mia pulito. Non c’è ascensore

Nous sommes désolés mais nous sommes dans une zone piétonne donc animée surtout le week end.C'est marqué sur le descriptif ainsi que la dimension des chambres. tout correspond a votre réservation sinon . Les triples sont plus grandes.Nous proposons de changer sur la cour à chaque possibilité. Les chambres sont faites tous les jours mais cause Covid nous ne touchons pas aux lits et les chambres doivent être libérées avant 12 h 00 , il se peut qu'il y ait eu un oubli mais alors c'est exceptionnel et je m'en excuse mais je ne pense pas que ce 6/10 soit juste ..Nous avons rouvert en personnel réduit et nouveau et il y parfois des petits bugs pour le commencement après 5 mois de fermeture ou l'hôtel a été rénové. Nous essayons d'améliorer le confort et avons rajouté coffre et frigo ce qui 'est pas commun en 2*.

Das Zimmer war klein aber zweckmässig und mit Klima. An der Reception waren Alle sehr freundlich. Wir konnten unser Auto für eine Nacht und einen halben Tag direkt gratis vor dem Hotel parken.

Hotel is at good location but it's made out of paper because you can hear everything. The bed is at least 15 years old and they are very unconfortable and so are the pillows. It was very hard to sleep amd relax.

Hotel simples, sem elevador e quarto pequeno para tres pessoas, porem super limpo e arrumado e foram muito solicitos, inclusive levaram a nossa mala até o quarto. Ótima localizaçao, perto da praia e de ruas com excelentes opçoes de compras... Recomendo e voltaria la.

Thin walls, the room we stayed in was the smallest room we have ever stayed in at a hotel. The size of a toilet?! It was almost claustrophobic. Be aware that there is a strip bar/club right below / right next door to the hotel - so the noise level is quite uncomfortable late at night - woke up at 3-4am because of the loud disco noise. Good location, close to major shopping & restaurants.

Nice hotel in the centre of Cannes

Nice two stars Hotel.
The hotel is very convenient located in Cannes. Close to restaurants, The Croisette, The Convention Palais, shopping areas. It is a two star hotel with nice rooms. I really liked the staff. Really friendly and made me feel at home as they were always ready to help.

Ho prenotato dal cellulare, al volo, due ore prima di prendere possesso della camera. Personale molto gentile, stanza grande, spartana ma dotata di tutti i confort. Non è un albergo di lusso, è chiaro ma per 1-2 notti va benissimo anche perchè è davvero a due passi dalla Croisette.

Einfaches aber sehr gutes Hotel mit super Service
Nun war ich das zweite Jahr im Anna Livia. Und wieder war ich vollkommen zufrieden. Klar war mein Zimmer sehr klein und die Wände und Türen dünn. Das war es allerdings auch schon an Minus Punkten ( welche für den Preis akzeptabel sind) . Positiv: supernette Hotelleitung Englisch und auch deutschsprachig , tägliche- sehr gute Reinigung der Zimmer, einwandfreie Klimaanlage, bequeme Betten, moderne Duschen, quasi direkt an der Croisette, Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke, Preis Leistung Top!
