The entire facility was just so pleasant and well maintained. The rooms were generous and clean. They were not over the top but very adequate. The staff was outstanding! Always polite, always ready to help and went out of their way to accommodate requests. The food was uniformly good and the breakfast buffet was standout. As a family, we went to Taj Holiday Village and Resort for rest and relaxation and that is what we achieved.

One of the nicer properties in Goa, plenty of area for kids to run around, fantastic pool and beach access. The staff hospitality has remained one of the best I have experienced. My only grievance would be with the room - though amply sized, I found the bathrooms to be a tad outdated and in need of repair. Room was not satisfactory. Bathroom had a leak. Beds were smaller than shown in picture. Beds were not separated and were made into one big bed even though I had stated that there were 3 adults staying in the room. Staff (Manthan - Manager), in particular, was very helpful. He accommodated us as best he could. But, there were no other rooms available, even when I offered to pay for an upgrade.

I had a lovely stay at Taj. It’s a great resort, conveniently located and good facilities. The room was beautiful and well serviced. All staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Taj village resort and spa Goa

Our stay was fantastic! The ambiance was amazing, and one of the best perks of booking the Taj Village Resort is that you also get access to both Taj Fort Aguada and the Village Resort. The property is expansive, well-maintained, and impeccably clean. The direct access to the beach is another major highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful, ensuring we had a wonderful and memorable stay.

Taj experience, excellent everytime. Staff was great, polite and helpful. Rooms are small/ stuffed. Breakfast is really nice. Dinner buffet is limited, i think since a lot of people choose to eat outside due to so many options in Goa. Again super services by the staff. Bar at the pool is a good add on. Private beach is also really good. Their food is really good especially at the Banyan tree Thai restaurant), the staff again excellent. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay!

We have just finished a 10 day stay at the Taj Village Resort and cannot recommend it enough. The entire stay was well beyond our expectations. Shubham, Uma and Salonica at reception were welcoming and always helpful. Sudedh at the travel desk always on hand to organise transport. Prajot and Saeel at the poolside bar were always so kind and went out of their way. Sahhoo the lifeguard was amazing. Always making sure our sun beds were arranged such that my children were sheltered from the sun. Prakash and Devanand at the Caravela were always on hand to ensure we were taken care of at the restaurant. We did have a blip with 2 groups of Ill mannered students checking in and making 4 days rather unpleasant but that cannot be held against the hotel or staff in any way. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel in Goa and you are travelling with children.

Bad Value for Money stay

This is one of the Taj’s flagship property in India and one of the most expensive hotels so one expects extraordinary service from them especially on Christmas holidays. Surprisingly they only have two restaurants, one is coffee shop offering buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner and the other one is a Thai restaurant- Banyan Tree. We have stayed at this property many times but this time food at coffee shop was very much below average- minus 10 on a scale of 10. Tasteless with bad to look at presentation on table made us hunt for food outside the hotel though we had paid for a meal plan. There are so many great choices outside the hotel for food that is much reasonably priced like Second House, Hosa, etc. Rotten bananas coming on the table and such food not only in buffet but also in ala carta menu escaping professional eyes is a serious RED FLAG. We informed all the concerned people and they promised to look into it. Secondly the cabanas were all dirty. Despite bringing it to their knowledge no one cleaned it up for five nights of our stay. This is not what you expect after you pay $800 USD for a night.
