I am so disappointed with my latest stay at the Hard Rock in Cancun. I still cannot get over the fact that I paid almost $16,000 for two rooms and the rooms were disgusting and when I say this disgusting I mean that they need major renovation, there werr holes in the walls, dirt underneath the bed tiles falling off in the shower tiles falling off all over the pool, spider webs on the rooms, dirt all over the floor.
Aside from being dirty, and breaking apart, this hotel needs a major renovation, it should close down and completely renovate. It is so outdated and dark the hot tubs in the rooms take up all of the space there was barely any room to put our luggage’s bc of the outdated hot tub.
My husband is an owner of Marriott hotels and we could have easily stayed next-door at the JW Marriott, which is clean updated and has excellent food at a discounted rate but instead we chose to stay at the hard rock with all inclusive food, which there was the same food at the pool every single day, and if I had to write the food, I would write it at a two out of a 10. I would love to get a refund that’s how much I regret staying at the hard rock. The staff was not as friendly as they have been in the past. Two years ago we stayed at the hard rock in Cabo and the staff was amazing. I expected way more from the staff, but I cannot say there was even one staff member that was extremely nice. Most of them were rude and short with us.. would I stay here or recommend anyone to stay here
