This lovely spanish colonial hotel is clean, atmospheric and in a great location in historical Campeche. The hotel staff are friendly and most helpful. The breakfast is limited, but satifactory.

Positive experience

Lovely hotel on a street than can have traffic.I suggest you ask for a room not facing the street. Breakfast was fab. The hotel was helpful and safe.

This is a beautiful first class hotel which originally was a colonial mansion which has been recently remodeled and updated. It is in the center of the historical colonial neighborhood in Capeche. It is near all of the historical architecture, the malecon and sights, as well multiple restaurants and stores.The staff of the hotel were friendly, competent and attentive. The water in the shower could have been warmer, but this was a small compromise to be privileged to experience the ambiance and culture of Compache. This hotel is a true gem.

Nice big rooms. Hotel in general clean. Do not get a room by street, very noisy. Offers free breakfast with stay but the lady there is the waitress and cook and not very pleasant. I walked out to get breakfast somewhere else after waiting to be ask what I wanted to drink for about ten minutes with only one other table there at that time.

Great value for money. This property is being spruced up and the maintenance is stepped up as well. Staff was always helpful - and breakfast with eggs cooked to order was a pleasant surprise …and delivered with a smile!

The room was quite spacious and well appointed, the hotel a 2 minute walk from the main pedestrian street and all the sights. The toilet plumbing was a bit iffy.

Location couldn't be better. Staff was very helpful. Pool was beautifully clean. Rooms 1 and 2 the best. Very large old colonial style, marble everything, wonderful view of the old Jesuit Church near by. Lots of road noise but worth it for the view and ambiance. Rooms 3 and 4 similar style but no view and little or no road nouse. The other small two bed rooms looked really small with the only window bringing in light and fresh air from the hallway not so good.

Great location, large room with balcony doors.Clean and helpful cleaning staff. Frig included but not coffee maker (or water glass or Kleenex tissue). Rooms off the street are noisy at night. Can have laundry sent out (no self serve). Delightful small pool in back. No airport shuttle. Breakfast included was usually scrambled eggs with mushroom or ham, coffee, juice, toast and always fresh and tasty. Very easy walk to pedestrian mall and boardwalk along the Gulf

La chambre était très belle et propre. Cependant, on a dû reparer le coffre de sécurité et on a oublié de nous le rapporter. L'eau de la toilette se renouvelait excessivement lentement. On est venu la reparer mais sans succès. De plus, la pomme de douche était mal installé et coulait très mal. On est venu la réparer, ce qui a pris plus de 2 heures. Nous avons dû rester dans notre chambre à attendre la fin des travaux. Nous avons perdu un avant-midi de visite dans cette ville. On a aussi refuser de nous compenser. C'est un bel hotel, mais nous parait très désorganisé.

La seule qualité de l'hôtel c'est qu'il se trouve en plein centre ville. Petit déjeuner très moyen on avait l'impression d'être dans une cantine, la salle du petit déjeuner est à rénover comme tout l'hôtel, il fait très vieillot ! Malgré un hôtel vide, et étant venue en lune de miel, on nous a donné une chambre avec vue sur la cour intérieure qui n'est que le parking de l'hôtel, merci pour ce geste 😞
