"There was hair in the shower. I was wearing white socks within an hour they were completely brown on the bottom. There were only a few rooms occupied but all the people were bunched together the people next to us was a partying until 2:00 a.m. and the front desk was closed."

"This was a great choice of place to stay while we visited French Lick for my birthday weekend. Just a 10 min or less drive to the casino and lots of good restaurant choices. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and when we were first unloading our suitcases in the room we noticed the smoke alarm was chirping every minute needing new batteries. My husband went down to the desk and she gave us a different room right away. Breakfast was full buffet and the kitchen staff was very attentive keeping fresh biscuits coming and cleaning tables and around the serving line. We would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we go down to French Lick!"

"The way the villas are placed you have a feeling of being in the mountains. It was very quiet and peaceful. The spaciousness of the villa was really nice. The only thing that needs improvement would be to put in a bigger bed. The bed was small and mattress the mattress sank in the middle. But that did not keep us from having a lovely stay."

"The room was great, facility was clean, fitness center was superb, employees were moderately helpful, and breakfast was amazing. Got a great deal on it at the time and will definitely be back if I can get a good deal again."

"The rooms was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked that the property backed up to a wooded area so you didn't have to deal with noise and glaring neon signs. I stayed for three nights and the problems listed below didn't occur until the third day and I didn't register a complaint with the management because I didn't want to have to repack everything to move to another room for the last night. One problem was the AC was cooling but I had to keep turning the thermostat down because it was not cooling efficiently. Another problem was the microwave was not working. I didn't report it because I didn't try using it until the last nighr. Lastly, the toilet had to be repeatedly flushed each time because the water would spin around in the bowl, but not drain the waste. I did report that and was told it would be taken care of."

"Disappointing for Hampton Inn. No staff, limited service. Dim and worn room with mold in shower the bathroom. Disappointed n the 8.8 rating. It is not. "
