"We could only stay one night,but it was so worth it after a lot of frantic driving from the south. Even though we arrived at 10PM our host was waiting and so welcoming. We had a huge room with everything one could ask for. Wonderful views. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was anything one wanted and then some. Our host chatted with us and we had a jolly good time comparing notes on grandchildren and the area. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again. well done!"

"The large and pretty Victorian house was in convenient walking distance to restaurants, shops, and town. We had a beautiful view of the harbor marina! Love waking up to that view and having breakfast looking at the people taking morning walks. The hosts Steve and his wife, Shawn, were so dear. They welcomed us with a tour and cookies! "We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2...

"The Hudson House was perfect for our stay. My boys were in awe of the house. The owners have made it so cozy and have paid such close attention to details. There were snacks, amazing notes to help you navigate the house, and games to keep the kids busy. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a relaxing weekend right on the water. -Nicole M."

"We extremely enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, kitchen was well equipped and the view was spectacular, especially with the Eagles that have nested on the 32 acre property. However was disappointed in the fact that the fire places were not in working conditions and rooms should have been number. We enjoy kayaking up and down the bay and taking it all in. I would definitely stay again."
