We stayed for a long weekend and even though it was cold we really enjoyed the fire pit facing the ocean and the jacuzzi and pool too. The breakfast was sufficient and perfect for the morning. It included pancakes (on a self making machine) rolls, muffins, oatmeal packets. hard boiled eggs, cream cheese, toast and various things like that. We would go back again! Thank you!

A proper gem on the PCH. Great for San Simeon and the Hearst Castle. Would highly recommend.

My family and I have stayed at several of the other hotels on Moonstone Beach. Castle Inn by far is now our favorite. Clean, quiet, helpful staff and can't beat the location. Great place to stay I highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Basically a motel, in an area along the shore where there are many of them. The actual town is a five-min drive away. But it was lovely to stay right across the street from the beach. Not for swimming but nice place to watch the sunset.

The facility was lovely. Nice pool and hot tub. Great options for sitting around the property in Adirondak chairs by a fire or facing the ocean. All of the succulent landscaping was beautiful. Location was across from the beach and dining options were walkable. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Loved the house made baked goods.

Jack was extremely helpful at the reception. They had electric charging for EV free. He gave us restaurant options. Tye also at the reception, gave us an hour of delayed checkout. The rooms were extremely clean. Breakfast was modest but nice. They had a pancake machine that made delicious pancakes.

Staff was great, especially Jack and Cameron. The room was kept nice and clean. They have a breakfast room, gas fire pit, jacuzzi, and heated pool. They're located right across the street from the beach and boardwalk.

Wonderful, wonderful hotel! Our second time staying here and we will be back! Location is exceptional, walking distance, 3 minutes, to our favorite restaurant! Nice fire pit out front with lots of chairs to watch the sunset over Moonstone Beach!

Great view of the ocean from our room. The hotel was very clean and open with a lot of parking. We were greeted and welcomed to the check-in lobby where we were given fresh baked cookies while we waited! Very good service, very clean room.

Location of the property was great! The room was very clean with all amenities stocked. I loved that it had a little vanity area that avoided me being in my husband’s way while he showered and I got ready. The room was so cozy and spacious. The price seemed unbeatable with the location of the hotel and overall facility.

that some of the people in nearby/adjoining rooms are completely clueless as to the necessity to close their doors quietly. Instead, they slam them hard. No need for that. But this is everywhere, not just at this location,
