Staff were helpful when I realized I booked for the day after I was supposed to check in. Thankfully they made the change and I was able to stay there when I needed to because my connecting flight was cancelled.

Dont waste your money if you plan on staying more than one night. Hotel is dated and bathroom is tiny. Rooms smell funky probably because the AC was spewing out stinky air when we first walked into the room. Plus with the heat wave in Calgary, the pool was closed. We were later told it was closed because it failed to meet health an safety codes. Like I said stay if you only need on night as its only decent for a stopover

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also clean but a bit cramped. The only drawback for me was the non-functional hot tub due to issues with heating elements. However, I realize the staff couldn't do anything about but offered to pay for a visit to a local pool as compensation. I should also mention that breakfast was pretty much standard but well done. The staff there were exceptional as were any other personnel that I came in contact with.

I have never come across such caring and compassionate hotel staff. Their ice machines were unplugged as a water restriction was just being lifted in Calgary due to a water main break. I told them that my partner has just had a hip replacement surgery the day before and I was in need of ice for the ice pack machine he was sent home with. They informed me that they would plug it in right away and would call my room as soon as it had cooled. Not even 20 minutes later, a staff member was at my door out of breath with a bag of ice that she had purchased elsewhere for my partner until the ice machine cooled ebough. It was the kindest gesture and I can't say how much I appreciated it. During the remainder of my stay, they made sure I knew I could come see them at the desk if we needed anything at all. The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing and their kindness will be remembered.

The staff was WONDERFUL! The property needs some gentle help. 1. Many things in the facility are in need of attention to detail. Many things in the room and elevator are hung up crooked. There is a hole showing above the crooked mirror in room 210. Signs are crooked in the elevator. 2. The pull down blackout shade does not block out light and there aren't curtains to pull over the pulldown shade. 3. The tiny soap bottles are almost too hard for arthritic hands to squeeze the soap out of and the print on the bottles is too small to see in the shower without glasses. 4. Placing the breakfast trash can where the high chairs are allows the guests to access it far easier than having the can back against the far wall by the beverages. Move the cereal dispenser closer to the refrigerator for easy access to milk.

Tucked in an alley right beside a fire station heavily water damaged and a lot of the ceiling fixtures in the room were falling out. All the base boards in the main lobby were ripped out and the wall beside the front desk looked like it was partially torn down and damaged. On top of which the hotel did not notify me that there was a water shortage and that I would not be able to make ise of several amenities or take showers longer than 3 minutes.

I dont know who made mistake of its from the hotel or from expedia web ,i was searching more then 2 hours ro get a reasonable hotel and swiming pool number one on the list for my boys 6 and 12 years and we come for.check in gentleman was nice but he said pool.close for maintenance, my kids were shocked? Seriously?? Why u didn’t put that on the website before we paid and its not refundable thats not fair
