Pool was very large! Awesome for our group with several kids. Property is definitely an aging one, however they were actively working on replacing carpets etc. The elevator was finicky and had issues closing at times. The room was comfortable, bed was very close to the AC though, nearly touching. Breakfast had a great variety and lots of room for seating. We would stay again!

The beds were comfortable. Bathtoom door dirty. Front desk staff polite. We were located on the first floor which is up 2 steep flights of stairs with huge hockey luggage. No mention of stairs ever. There is also some kind of immigration office in the lobby with a constant flow of refugees or new immigrants looking for help day and night. Breakfast staff rude.

Close to BMO convention center. On Friday and Saturday there can be a shortage of space for parking. My room was on what they call the first floor, which is up three flights of stairs and has no elevator access. That was annoying, since I had two boxes to haul in and out each day. Otherwise they have good breakfast options, the hotel is reasonably quiet, and overall is a decent place to stay. I have been here a few times before, though never on the 'first floor' before.

We chose to stay here because it was close to the train station and the saddledome. Check in/check out was easy and good. Room was spacious but the bed was rock hard. Felt like you were sleeping on a board. But as for parking. What a s**t show. We came for a concert, as I assume alot of people did. The stalls were super small even in just an suv, couldn’t imagine a truck. Says there’s under ground parking, but it was locked up when we tried to access it. Called in and they said it was closed. So had to find our own parking. Online says there’s a restaurant, well there’s not. It closed. All it all it was alright. Definitely wouldn’t stay again unless absolutely had to.

Our stay was extremely poor as when we first arrived on sight the hotel amenities were down. The contental breakfast was terrible, juice was warm, eggs were dry, and the meat was poor quality. When the pool eventually reopened pieces of broken tile were around and children were throwing these pieces of tile around. There was no enforcement of the rules and this was extremely unsafe.

Good hotel. Nothing setting it apart from others. Clean, friendly staff and good continental breakfast. Parking needs an upgrade though. Not much on the top level and they dont have very good signs to show where the underground parking is. I would stay here again.

Upon arrival we were informed that the pool and hottibr were out of commission and unknown when they would be ready. The staff suggested we don't a new place of that was an issue. Upon arrival on our room the toilet broke shortly after. Told maintenance would be up in 5-10 minutes. 30 minutes later none had shown. Moved to another room. Toilet was unflushed and when flushed it left as large stain on the inside. Offered a third room but it has the same issue. Parts were falling off the things. The floors for grimy. The breakfast was lacking and unappetizing. After multiple issues and lack of any sort or cleaning we were given $30 off a night. Nothing about this hotel is worth the hassle.

Awful! The property was dirty. The sink in our room was clogged, the shower did not work, the heater was so noisy, felt like we were sleeping next to the train tracks with ongoing train passing through. On top of that the elevator was questionable, you didn’t know what floor you were on until the door opened.

If $99 rooms were still a thing, this would be one of them. The “Calgary South” in the name is very misleading, definitely not south Calgary. The rooms are super out dated, the bathroom was dirty, facecloths stained, shower rod barely hanging on, shower barely worked and never got hot, bed was super hard and uncomfortable, the people in the adjoining room next to us sounded like they may as well have been sharing a room with us. Also, the front desk would not let us pay for the room with debit. Overall, definitely will not be staying again. Disappointing.

To start off positively, the room looked nice and the one lady receptionist was really nice and helpful. The room was mainly cleaned, but there was hair in the bed and what looked to be some sort of drink that has partially spilled in the mini fridge. You can hear so much of what’s going on in the hallway and I was put right next to the stairs, so I could hear the door slamming quite a bit. There were no phone chargers that I could buy there, or even close to the property which partly isn’t their fault, but other travellers I could imagine need a charger here and there, so I’m going to share this story quickly. I got to the hotel and checked in, and my phone had died right as I got there. I had asked the male receptionist working where I could buy a phone charger and he pointed me in a specific direction. I even asked “so for sure the gas station is that way? Because I have no phone at 1 am and no way of finding another place” he said he was sure. I walked so far, past so many closed gas stations until eventually, 45 minutes later, finding a gas station to buy a charger. The area has so many homeless people yelling, asking for money, using drugs extremely publicly and I was just overall approached so many times. I asked for the gas station attendant to call me a cab, it never showed up. That’s not the hotels fault, but misguiding me that heavily put me in a dangerous situation from 1-2:30am, with a dead phone in that area.

I enjoy this hotel for the location! Wish they still had their lounge in the hotel as that was a nice place to hangout for abit. I think the deposit is very high as i stay in ALOT of hotels and usually deposit is $100 and under and its $200 in a hotel like this and is held for a long time. Staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean.

I was disappointed with the breakfast again. There is a lot of variety but the eggs, sausage and hasbrown patties are luke warm at best. The staff at the desk and the cleaning staff that I had occasion to speak to were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is in a central location and I will stay there again.

The staff was incredible. very courteous and helpful. They looked after all our needs with a smile. Room was large and comfortable and was cleaned every day. We were on the first flour that still involved climbing 24 stairs with no elevator. Someone came immediately to help us with our luggage. There was a large TV but reception was a inconsistent. Tubi was a bonus. Breakfast was great but was the same every day. They were hosting several refugee families with lots of children and they found areas they could play but not interfere with hotel guests. It was wonderful to hear the children enjoying their time in Canada.
