There is a good sandy beach in the national park which starts at the end of the main street in town. The town has a couple of convenience stores, a lot of bars and some reasonably good restraints. Sobre las Olas is one of the best.
the cocoa museum was also very nice. Miss Edith's and Banana restaurants were great eateries. It is very relaxed there. Not for anybody looking for lots of entertainment.
