It is located in Reserva Conchal, near Liberia in the lush Guanacaste Region of Costa Rica. The condo offers an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Islands and the Robert Trent Jones golf course. Ecotourism at its finest! Volcanoes, rainforests, bird watching and zip lines! This is a great place to learn Spanish for the entire family. (An excellent multi-lingual school for children and adults minutes away.) Golf: Enjoy the thrill and convenience of world-class golf at the Reserva Conchal Golf Club aptly named “Garra de Leon.” Designed in the classic tradition of the game by Robert Trent Jones II. Each nine meanders through the rolling terrain with breathtaking ocean views. This 71-par championship course provides players with both a challenging and an extraordinary eco-golf experience. Lakes and ravines accentuate the course and put a premium on tee shots and accurate approach shots to large, manicured Bermuda-grass greens. Beach Club: Full access to the unique and exclusive Reserva Conchal Club and Spa is included. Designed by Costa Rican renowned architect Antonio Cardona, of San José, this roomy 60,000 ft2 club is undoubtedly the resort’s hub of activity, a central gathering place for dining and relaxing, exercising and tanning, socializing and entertaining. A contemporary Swimming Pavilion of a 200 feet (60 meter) pool connects the restaurant and spa section of the facility. A variety of beach activities are offered, including kayaks, jet skis, kite and windsurfing, sailing, pedal boats and wakeboarding. We enjoyed watching the howler monkeys both from our patio as well as small walks around our condo area. We used the beach club many times. The house is just as the pictures and the view from the balcony is even better in person. The house is in a super secured location near the pools and the beach. This condo was perfect for our large family of eight, with plenty of communal space, but also very nice-sized bedrooms all around. And perfectly decorated as well! But our favorite space, hands-down, was the balcony. It stretches from the master bedroom side, passes the living & dining room, all the way to another bedroom on the other side of the condo. Plenty of seating to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or your evening cocktail. We loved sitting outside each morning, listening to the howler monkeys (what an incredible sound they make!) and watching the magpie jays. Of course, the sunrises and sunsets were incredible. Also, with such a large family, having a fully-stocked kitchen at our disposal and laundry facilities was spot on. The resort itself was lovely too. We certainly made use of the beach club and all it had to offer. Dinners down on the sand in the evening were just fabulous. We still talk about the incredible shrimp and other yummy food. I have to say that we have been in many VRBO properties through the years, but this place was absolutely the best! Thank you so much for a such a wonderful family getaway!! ##### Jennifer F. It also has a half bath. The master bedroom, one other bedroom, living and dining room have a full view of the ocean. It is a beautiful view to wake up to and watch the sun set. This is a very large condo with everything you need. They have a pool that is only for the guest of the building or you can go to the beach club and hang out on the beach or the pool. You can also hear monkeys, we saw them at the beach club. We had a wonderful family vacation and plan on more trips! ##### Presha C. Spent every morning on the large balcony drinking coffee, watching the birds and howler monkeys. It's about 10 minute mostly downhill walk to the beautiful beach club and they also have shuttles. Food at the beach club is quite good. Brasilito, Flamingo and Tamarindo are not too far via taxi and provide great options for dining. The concierge Melissa arranged a private chef (Chef Roy) to come to the condo which was a nice highlight of our week. Looking forward to a return visit. ##### Nancy S. There are several condo buildings within Reserva Conchal. This one is in Joba which seems to be one of the best. It's fairly new and well designed and the location gives you one of the best ocean views. It's also more on the edge of the development which is good but keep in mind the development is spread out over a few miles so walking to the Westin and Beach Club would be too far. The shuttles will be there for you consistently in a few minutes so you could certainly just do that but a car is a good idea at least for a few days. You really have the best of both worlds here with the beach club and their concierge people who are happy to help all the time. We certainly preferred the beach club to the Westin and it's restaurants. You can't go wrong with this place. ##### Ray H.
