Awesome 30th birthday/college reunion trip!
We booked with Barefoot way in advance and had a lot of time to hype up the trip - and it well exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 24 college friends celebrating our 30th birthdays/college reunion and the property is awesome - tons of space with the rooms all with their own bathrooms, plus tons of outdoor covered space, the bar, loft, pool, and not to mention the whole beach right in front of you. We enjoyed all of the food that was prepared, especially the pig roast and Dominican Night. Nina helped arrange a delicious dulce de leche birthday cake for us. The staff were so friendly and always ready to help or mix us another drink. The villa arranged all of our outings and shuttles which made things so easy for a central place to coordinate and pay on one invoice. We had a great time on our cave hiking tour and catamaran sunset tour. We hope to make this a recurring trip and would not hesitate to book with Barefoot Beach Pad again!

Amazing Spot for Families
We had a fantastic experience at Barefoot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had 4 families: 8 adults and 17 children. We took advantage of the all inclusive option- TOTALLY the way to go! The food was wonderful! Favorites were the grouper tenders, papas fritas, Mexican Night, Asian Night & the Pig Roast! But honestly, all the food was great. Having the bartenders on site was a plus, they were so personable & really made the trip extra special. There was a large speaker there to play music, so no need to bring one. Nina & Ariel were incredible & helped book excursions & cater to all of our needs. The staff were top notch-from the cooks to the grounds staff. It felt like family by the end of our stay. Excursion/Activity Notes: -Riverboat tour was great, especially for our kids! The meal there was INCREDIBLE. -Horseback Riding was the favorite tour for many in our group. Tommy & his team were so kind and wonderful, especially with the kids. The tour was breathtakingly beautiful. **Wear pants & closed toed shoes you can get wet. -Massages on site. This was amazing! Especially on the evening of our travel day. We took advantage of this almost everyday. -Surfing: We went to the surf beach for this because it was too rough at the house. The beach was beautiful and there were many instructors & everyone got one on one attention. We did this twice. -Snorkeling was great, lots of visibility. -Monkey Jungle & Ziplining- great mission & fun but the zipling is not really for young kids.

Perfect Vacation with Friends
We stayed at Barefoot for a week with a group of 16 friends, and got the all inclusive food package. This is an amazing property with breathtaking views of the ocean, and nice areas to hang out, play games, party, watch movies, etc. The beach is also very nice, and we had a few calm days during our stay, allowing us to hang out on the beach and in the ocean for several hours each day. Ben, Nina, and Ariel catered to our every single need and request, and were super responsive. During the first few days of our stay, we had an issue with our food. Ben personally met with us, and had a few suggestions to resolve the issue and made sure everybody in the group enjoys their vacation and is happy. If you book excursions, our group really liked the magic mushroom. If you get the food package, our favourites were Mexican, Indian, Dominican, and Asian.

Perfect Family Beach Time
This was perfect for our large family group of 23 adults and kids. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed our bartender Angel. The food was delicious. The outdoor setting for food, drinks and family time was great as well as it being beach front. I would recommend this for a large group since the whole place was ours. Thank you Nina and Ariel for taking care of our every need.

A Perfect Vacation
We were a group of 20 family and friends, here for a full week to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. We spent months researching what we hoped would be the perfect spot. We found it. Clean, amazingly good food (as in, some of the best food any of us have ever had on vacation), incredibly helpful staff (special thanks to Nina, the property manager who made sure we had a fantastic experience), delicious drinks (shout out to Ariel who made the best frozen drink of the week), and a safe, comfortable atmosphere. We played in the ocean, played in the pool, hung out for hours in the covered spaces, enjoyed dozens of massages, went on fun excursions set up by Nina, and wanted for nothing. To top it off, the owners, Ben and Evelyn came by multiple times to make sure we were having fun and didn’t need anything. We caught some wahoo deep sea fishing one day, and Evelyn made us homemade ceviche, which is the best we’ve ever had. Just incredible. Words don’t do justice to the phenomenal experience we had. Thanks to everyone involved. We will be back!

Highly recommend
I chose this beautiful villa for my bachelorette. This was the perfect pick. Now it was far from STI airport. That was the only negative. POP airport is a lot closer but also a lot more expensive to fly into. None the less Ben and Nina were perfect host. They made sure everything was accounted for.. great food, transfers, excursions they were thorough flexible and very accommodating. We had Asian night and Mexican night and my friends still rave about that darn Asian night. Food was amazing. Staff was there around the clock security too. I felt like a bride to be because they was there to service our every need. The place was clean exactly like pictures. I would ask for some more full size body mirrors in the room but each room was clean spacious and had their own bathroom and balcony. They had pool toys for us .. a jacuzzi I mean .. they are doing what needs to be done. Honestly. I would do it all over again with friends and or family. It was perfect. My pictures looks like screen savors. We got massages and played pool and just had a ball. The location was not far from the beach bars either. They made this so easy for me honestly. Book them. We are young black women. This was some ppls first time out the country and they set the bar for them for sure. Well done

Bachelorette weekend
What a wonderful four nights we had at this villa! The owners, management, bartenders, chefs, cleaning service was exceptional! The pictures online don’t do it justice! It was the perfect location for a bachelorette weekend. We did a couple of mornings of yoga, one night with a DJ pool party, full chef service every day for breakfast and dinner! The 22 of us cannot speak highly enough about this spot!

Perfect Vacation
I have nothing but great things to say about Barefoot Beach Pad. We traveled with 12 guest for a week vacation. The accommodations are as pictured and more. Nina was amazing!!! She coordinated our all inclusive package request and assisted with travel and excursion arrangements. The bar tenders Alex and Richard were great! They can make some fantastic coctails! The maid service kept our rooms tidy and the grounds guy was wonderful keeping the property beautiful and beach clean during our stay. The kitchen crew is sure to keep you well feed with some delicious meals. The owener Ben was so nice. He chatted with us and assisted with dinner service one evening. His sweet wife even made us some yummy dessert. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!!

We will remember this family vacation for a lifetime. I cannot say enough great things about Barefoot Beach Pad! Ben and his staff are truly top notch! Our group of 20 people consisted of 12 adults, two teens (15 and 18), 4 toddlers (2 to 4) and 2 infants. Barefoot Beach Pad was our home away from home for a week. The staff catered to us, played with the toddlers, held the babies, cooked for us, cleaned the rooms daily, cleaned the spa daily, skimmed the pool daily, and cleaned the grounds daily. We had a total of 25 massages on demand - you ask for it, it’s done! The food is fresh and delicious. If you get the all-inclusive plan, the fish sticks on the lunch menu are amazing!! Ben cooks himself if you order Indian night or Asian night - he’s a great chef! The beach is footsteps away - literally in your backyard - for daily beach walks. Private property and private beach area. We went for ATV rides, horseback rides, zip lining, sliding in waterfalls, a trip to Cabarete and Puerto Plata. Everything arranged by Ben’s staff was superbly done - even the taxi service they arranged, My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! If you’re contemplating staying at Barefoot Beach Pad - book it - you won’t regret it!

Between Ben and Nina as well as the staff this is going to be a trip you’ll never forget. They help you plan out every detail of your stay. This is the 5th year I’ve booked a big trip with my friends to a beach vrbo rental. It was by far the easiest and pain free one I’ve done. You cannot go wrong with booking at this property. They will treat you like family!!!

We had our 4 families' annual trip with all 10 kids, and it was a wonderful experience. The owners Ben & Evelyn and property manager Nina were always available by messenger and stopped by often to check in. Anything we mentioned such as more gluten free food or a passing fancy for a hammock, appeared in short order! Any activity we desired was arranged. We used to option for all inclusive food and drinks, this was prompt and the food varied. The beach was a bit rough and we had a couple close calls with the smaller children (age 10) so you have to be very careful of the undertow! There is no fence around the pool (common outside US) so you have to keep this in consideration and keep any kids not Excellent swimmers In their flotation devices. The rooms were cleaned daily. Everyone working on the property was very friendly (except night security guard). You can not walk to town, unless you try to go by beach which depending on the tide is near impossible at times. Better off to have them arrange a can to sousua or cabarete. We will be back !

Ben and his crew were so awesome to work with. You could communicate with them anytime/anywhere for questions. With a group of 19 there were things that we forgot and they were always so helpful and accommodating. The place was amazing!! They thought of EVERYTHING to make this the most comfortable, safe and fun place to stay. The rooms all had an ensuite that were cleaned everyday with fresh linens. There was also a bar with bartender, kitchen with cooks (or you could cook your own but prices were so cheap, we went with the cooks) and a concierge. There was also a security officer at night. We always felt safe!! The pool and hot tub were also cleaned everyday. The beach was excellent and you have it all to yourselves. It was very quiet and peaceful... a little piece of heaven.

FROM OUR VERY FIRST CONVERSATION WITH BEN WE KNEW WE WERE IN GREAT HANDS. HE, EVELYN, NINA, JEFFREY, RICHARD AND ALL OF THE BEAUTIFUL SOULS AT BAREFOOT BEACH PAD TRULY MADE THE WEEK EVEN MORE SPECIAL THAN IF WE HAD CHOSEN ANY OTHER PLACE. THEY ARE OUR FRIENDS/FAMILY. THEY ARRANGED A SPECIAL BRTHDAY CAKE, ALL OF OUR TOURS, OUR TRIPS TO SHOP AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FULFILL ANY REQUEST. BEN EVEN COOKED ONE OF THE DINNERS AND IT WAS DELECIOUS! THAT BEING SAID, THE PROPERTY WAS EQUALLY AS WONDERFUL. MOST OF OUR DAYS WERE SPENT ENJOYING THIS SUPRISE OF A PERFECT SPOT FOR SO MANY. A PLACE WHERE WE COULD BE TOGETHER OR APART OR SITTING AT THE BAR WATCHING THE ONES IN THE OCEAN OR RELAXING IN THE POOL LISTENING TO THE MUSIC AND LAUGHTER FROM THE BAR/CRAFT AREA OR EVEN WHEN SPENDING SOME QUIET TIME READING WHILE STILL BEING "WITH" EVERYONE. IT WAS A FANTASTIC WEEK AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO GOING BACK SOONER RATHER THAN LATER.

Couldn't dream of a better trip!
I can't begin to express what a wonderful time we had at Cabarete with Ben, Nina and their team. They made every part of our experience easy and enjoyable (and with 20 people in one location, that's a challenge!) The kindness and hospitality you'll find here can't be beat. They make you feel like part of the family. The photos don't do justice to this lovely hotel. Everything was impeccably clean and gorgeous both inside and out. The beds were very comfortable, rooms were spacious, and the team was incredibly responsive to anything we needed. The beach is stunning and offers lots of privacy. You're just far enough outside the downtown area of Cabarete so that its not crowded, but its still a pleasant, reasonable walk along the beach to the shops and restaurants. Not that you need to go anywhere! The food was incredible. Having stayed in many all-inclusives in the Caribbean, I can confidently say this was the best food we've ever had. I need to give special thanks to Nina, who made sure a vegan guest was always easily accomdated with actual delicious food- not just fruit and plain salad. We're overjoyed with our stay and wish it could have been longer. I hope we get to visit again soon.

Outstanding In Every Way
I’m extremely particular when it comes to planning vacations for my family. I care deeply about the details b/c, in my opinion, that’s where the love is. Ben, Evelyn and their staff are masters at ensuring that the details are handled. They think about things that you don’t even consider. When you book this property, you can consider your bases COVERED. The staff are incredible. Jeffrey, Richard & Angel are exceptional in the type of motivated, yet laid back, way that makes clear that they actually care about ensuring that your group’s needs are met. Kids want ice cream? Done. Need breakfast changed from 9 am to 8 am? Done. Need haircuts for the fellas and massages for the group? Done. Likewise, housekeeping, kitchen staff & security are the unsung heroes. Simply put - they’re all outstanding. We opted for the all inclusive meal & drink plan, which I highly recommend. You’re on vacation - why be bothered? Let Ben & crew do their thing. You might even luck up & get some of Ben’s cooking. :-) Overall, the food was delicious & the bar was stocked. The hotel style layout of the rooms was perfect. The pool and beach were perfect. The loft area with pool table was perfect. Having a relaxing, laidback paradise for 4 days was absolutely perfect. Last thing - we wanted to set up a special dinner to honor my mother-in-law who passed away earlier this year. Evelyn went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we got what I requested and more. Much more. She worked with local vendors to source gorgeous flowers, table coverings & chairs. She also paid homage to my mother-in-law by incorporating her love of animal print in a really thoughtful way. The entire set up was incredible. Very long story short..this is the spot. Book it. Work with Ben & Evelyn ahead of time to curate your vacation, then sit back & relax. It’s going to be everything you hoped for and more.

The property was everything it claimed to be and more. When we booked our vacation a year ago Covid was still on the rampage (we took a chance) and then there were the many hurricanes. Through it all, Ben was there, helping us to make the best out of our vacation and reassuring us that everything will turn out great (not saying Ben is a miracle worker but .....). It was a meeting of the families accompanied by friends. With a large group of 17 adults and 2 kids, normally some sort of issue/s would arise. In our case, none of that happened due to Ben and his helpful, efficient staff. His wife greeted us upon our arrival, she was friendly and kind. Ben came later, to make sure we were settling in, introduce us to all the staff and find out if we had any other requests. He even came back one night to regale us with his many many stories. JB, his right-hand man was on top of and fulfilling every request. Angel our kindhearted, faithful, and helpful bartender. To the extremely helpful housekeeper, gracious kitchen staff, groundsman, and even security. Some quotes from my fellow vacationers, "truly a trip of a lifetime... incredibly special experience in the Dominican Republic", " It was a blast!" and as a group, "We wish were back there now!" So on behalf of everyone. THANK YOU BEN!!!!!

Best vacation ever!
We came for my 30th birthday and it couldn’t have been a better trip! Everyone from Ben to the bartenders were incredible, accommodating and so much fun. Everything was so easy to plan. The property is even more beautiful then the pictures. The food was amazing! It is the perfect place for a group trip we can’t wait to come back. We took the waterfall hike/zip line and had a blast! It was hard to pull us away from Barefoot though what a week we had.

Simple The Best
A group of 16 friends and family joined me for my 50th Birthday. The place was just what we all needed. The staff was very attentive and quickly fit in as part of the family. The food was spectacular. We did several excursion and Ben and his staff ensured everything went off without a hitch. We all agreed it was the best vacation ever where we wanted for nothing and just had to ask and you were quickly accommodated. They even went the extra mile and arranged for a spectacular birthday party celebration. It was a mic drop week!!!

Best fantasy football draft venue you could ever imagine
We chose this place to host our fantasy football draft - an annual tradition that our group of 10 guys takes extremely seriously. Ben and his team could not have done a better job making this an unforgettable experience. They were proactive, organized, and accommodating to our every request, large or small. Wonderful Extended Family Trip!
Our extended family of 14 stayed at the Barefoot Beach Pad for a week. Half are in their young twenties and half in their 50s. There was plenty to do for both groups onsite and through offsite excursions. Ben was very easy to work with and always accommodating. Your "bartenders", James, Richard and JB were awesome! I put bartenders in quotes because that is only a portion of their job. They are really your personal concierge. Whether you had questions regarding the town, needed a cab or medicine from the pharmacy, they took care of it for you! The chefs and cleaning staff were all great and friendly. For those unnecessarily concerned with safety, there is a guard onsite from 6:00pm-6:00am. Town is close, but easier and safer (crazy drivers) to cab there. We went all-inclusive drinks throughout and had Chef Service four five days. This gave us an opportunity to explore the area a bit. Overall, we had a great, laid back, trip to the Dominican and it was cool to have a place on the beach all to ourselves!

We had an amazing time. Very relaxing and accommodating. If you wanted something you just had to ask and the staff would make it happen. JB was the absolute best. He took care of everything. The cleaning staff and kitchen staff are all 5 star employees. The property was beautiful and perfect for our 8-71 year old crew. There is so much to do nearby just ask the staff to set up a taxi for you. We had a surprise party for our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and Ben and Evelyn put together the perfect dinner complete with flowers, cake, and a special meal. I cannot say it enough, if you want something all you have to do is ask. The last morning we wanted more bananas and pineapple for breakfast. We asked and they went out and got another pineapple and some bananas immediately. They treat you like family and you feel like family.

Best Vacation Ever!!!
Recently eleven of my family members and myself spent a week at the Barefoot Resort. This vacation was an absolute wonderful experience for all of us. Ben, Alex, JB, and James were the most gracious hosts and were delightful to be around. If you ask for something, you got it right away. One of us got an earache and another needed super glue for a broken nail and JB went to town and got ear drops and superglue. I highly recommend the food package as the food was excellent. Rarely do you like everything you are served, but you will here We wanted to go to town and they made it happen. We wanted to look at some jewelry and it appears. We want a massage and pedicure and they are there within the hour. All excursions were efficiently arranged for us without any effort on our part. This resort is run with 9 staff members who do everything from clean to cook and serve drinks and most of all they seem happy to do it. They actually made us feel like we were a part of their family as well. The beach is within 10 feet of the resort and there is also a pool and hot tub. Hands down this resort has the best staff of any place we have ever stayed on vacation before. Ben takes a personal interest in the guests and took excellent care of us. I would highly recommend the Barefoot Resort to anyone who wants a fun , peaceful vacation where your every need is attended to. Many thanks to all of them. We miss our new friends!!

What an amazing experience! The staff and the owners Ben & Evelyn superceded my expectations. Escarlina and Jeffrey were attentive to our every need. We were a group of 20, and we were all treated like family. I was specticle about booking this trip at first with all the scams happening, but this place and the people are a must do! Ideal rental for a large group. With very comfortable, clean rooms, a beautiful and quiet beach and attentive staff, Ben's place was great for our extended family. The dinners were very good and the food was plentiful!

What an amazing trip we had!! Everything from the property, to the food, drinks, staff, and Ben were amazing! I spent a year planning the perfect trip for my husbands 40th birthday and it was beyond expectations. The place was the perfect private getaway with everything we needed available at hand so everyone was able to relax and enjoy the entire week. Planning a vacation for 19 people is not an easy task and to say that there were no complaints from 19 people is even harder….but there were no complaints! Thank you Ben and staff for everything and will definitely visit again soon!

An amazing experience! Their staff is professional & friendly. The property is perfect for a large group of people traveling together. We all had our own rooms and the accommodations are perfect for everyone. We felt safe and were able to walk into town without worry. The food is amazingly delicious. Nobody in our entire group got sick from the food or water! Very thankful for a great experience!

The experience was PERFECT for my crew. I have zero complaints personally, and I can't recall hearing any complaints from the other 15 guests with me. The location is literally right on the water. Mother Nature is ruthless with the sea spray, but Ben does a great job maintaining the place and keeping his guests as content as possible. And the food ---- WOW. Way better than we were expecting. Kudos for that!!! If we make it back to the DR, we'll definitely be contacting Ben. Oh, and a shout out to Miss P, Jeffrey, and the entire staff!!! Thank you all for a great experience.

We were a group of 18 people. The property suited us perfectly. There was enough room for us to gather as a group or slip away for a little private time. The staff was the best and meals were delicious. Everyone went above and beyond. Ben the owner is a great communicator and made sure everything was ready for our arrival. Anything you need no matter how big or small the house manager Miss P can get it for you. Last but not least our bartender Jeffrey was the best. Took care of us in the evening and kept the party going. I would absolutely recommend this property and will likely return as well.

AMAZING!
Me and my friends loved our stay! The staff was on point, rooms were spacious, and the VIEWS...breath taking! To be able to wake up to a nice island breeze and the beach right outside is an experience on it's own. Ben and his staff were so accommodating. Jeffrey the Bartender had the drinks flowing and music rocking. The kitchen and cleaning staff made sure everything was clean everyday. The House Manager set up some great activities for us that we will never forget!. The FOOD! Man the food was great and plenty! We are still raving about the Gerneral Tso Chicken on Asian night lol. Ben made our stay like living in paradise and we will definitely be back sooner then later!

Perfect Family or Turn Up Location!!!
The Barefoot Beach Pad was exactly what we were looking for! We were a family group of 16 with many different age groups ranging from 18 months to 62 years. The size and different spaces catered to all the needs in our group. The positioning of pool and jacuzzi towards the beach and sunrise was amazing. Private acces to beach was very convenient! Staff was polite, helpful, very responsive to our needs ( AKA YUMEIRY THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS SOOO HELPFUL AND ATTENTIVE). Jeffrey the bartender was AMAZING! He assisted with everything, was the coolest, and would stay later to make sure th party kept going. THE FOOD/CHEF SERVICE was delicious! A must is the Asian night you will not disappointed AT ALL( MUST HAVE MONGOLIAN BEEF)!!! Everything they made hit the spot! Overall Ben, the owner, created an amazing place for every type of group. We will definitely stay here again, And so,should you !!!

Don't miss out on the opportunity to stay at this property!
From the moment we rented to the moment we pulled away, we could not have been more pleased with our experience. Excellent communication, wonderful accommodations, beautiful beach, amazing staff and the owners felt like family. The property owners gave us excellent suggestions for day trips, helped arrange transportation and prepared us some excellent food. Barefoot allowed us to be together as a large group but still have our own space. The town of Cabarete was charming and we met some wonderful people. This trip was exactly what our family needed and we will be back.
