"Clean room, great breakfast"

"First off, if you put the address listed for them on their website it will bring you to an H&R Block. Then when you try to call the hotel to find out where the building is, you will get someone in a call center giving you the same directions as your GPS until they begrudgingly transfer you to the actual hotel. Then they will give you the actual location. The staff is very nice ( the most redeeming quality of the hotel). The lobby and elevator are pretty rough looking. The room I stayed in has seen better days (peeling ceilings, hole in the wall of the shower) but it was clean (again I think the staff is doing the best they can with what they have). Overall for the price it wasn’t bad, you can’t expect the Ritz for 80 bucks. "

"It is very close to the center for concerts. Looks nice when you walk in not for sure if they were just short staffed when we were there we had to ask for a clean bed clothes there was food in the floor stains on tables dust & hair on the toilet it just overall wasn’t clean. They definitely just put some clean towels in there and made a bed. when I called down to ask for a clean bed clothes they didn’t even apologize. They just sent clean ones up."

"Decent location, right next to Sheetz. Room smelled good, just wasn’t super clean. Ran down, needs an uplift. Pillow and beds were comfy. Shower was hot. Indoor pool was a vibe. Front desk and breakfast staff were great. Save yourself from eating at the bar/restaurant in the hotel, bartender is a disaster. Rude, short, and does not need to be dealing with the public, at all. I could go on, but I’ll keep her personal review light. Great breakfast selection, food was good. On site restaurant food, again, save yourself and your money. Terrible food, even worse experience. "

"This location has been newly remodeled it was pretty nice for a last minute booking. Some things were out of their control. But overall we would definitely stay again. "

"The staff at Embass Suites in Charleston was very friendly and accommodating. There are two areas that could be improved. We went to breakfast at 7:45 and most of the hot items were gone. Also, accessibility to the stairs as an alternative to using the elevator could be improved i.e. where are the stairs located?!? and when we finally were able to find and use the stairs, the exit was onto the street!"
