« We (family of 4 with 2 small children) had a lovely stay at this cottage! Very friendly landlord and beautiful welcome package. Basic amenities to get you started straight after arrival like tea, suggar, milk, bread. Ideally situated in a quiet area with horse paddock right next to the cottage. « Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. « We absolutely love Walnut Cottage. It is like a home from home, so cosy and comfortable. The owners and the caretaker are so lovely and helpful. The kitchen has everything we need. We love the fire and the garden and the cottage is beautiful. We always take our dogs and they love it too.
