  • In the center of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains lies our comfortable two-bedroom cabin in Burnsville, NC. It is on 23 fully treed acres and surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest with direct access to the Appalachian Trail. Hike on your own or take a free host guided tour including Bald Mountain with its 25-mile vistas.

    Unwind in the "well jetted" hot tub with spa robes and towels after a day of hiking or skiing. The Hatley Pointe Ski Resort is just a 23-minute drive away. Stay connected with the free Wi-Fi and enjoy your favorite shows on Netflix, Amazon, Roko, and a host of other channels.

    The fully stocked kitchen includes all the essentials for a relaxing mountain stay. Enjoy your favorite Keurig coffee (assorted brands included) while on the deck watching hummingbirds, chipmunks, and deer.

    Our bathroom amenities include towels, robes, soaps, and hair dryer. You will also be pleased that for the comfort of our guests our toilet features a heated seat!

    Our cabin includes air conditioning, heating, and a large up-front gravel parking area with easy loading and unloading. Access to the cabin and parking area requires an AWD or 4WD vehicle.

The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful honeymoon. The cabin was the perfect location- secluded and quiet but close to Burnsville and not a bad drive to Asheville. Mark had helpful suggestions for the area and was very responsive to any questions.

We chose this accommodation as it had easy access to the Appalachian Trail (AT), was secluded, quiet and close to Asheville, where we were flying out of. Mark was an excellent host, very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. He helped us get our luggage to the cabin when it turned out we didn't have an all-wheel drive vehicle, which is needed to get up the driveway. He also helped us get to the AT the first day of our visit to enjoy some hiking. The spa was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed. We highly recommend this accommodation to other couples.

For us, it was nicer, cleaner, and even more enjoyable than expected. The property is immaculate, you can tell pride is taken in the place and the property has been thoughtfully laid out and maintained. It's sort of remote which is the best for us. Half hour from stores is none too far to us. Wildlife viewing from the windows or porches is on point, half a dozen deer a day most within 30 yards, along with all the other resident woodland creatures, they all kept their distance and were a delight to witness. The climate was beyond pleasant, 100 degrees in asheville and 79 degrees at this cabin, every afternoon we relished in how much better it felt on the mountain compared to town in the summer. If you like scenic, semi remote, God's creation in all it's glory from an extremely pleasant, helpful, and generous host; look no further. Plenty of activities to get into within a short drive from the place.

This is the most welcoming host I’ve ever dealt with. It seems like he truly cares about your stay. He thinks of everything possible to make you as comfortable as he can. The photos do not do it justice, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and he supplies everything you need. The jacuzzi is absolutely amazing and the views are breathtaking. This was a perfect getaway.

We enjoyed our long weekend at this beautiful property, everything was perfect and as described in the listing. Mark is an incredibly accommodating host and very attentive to anything we could need or want. Mark is a top notch host. The stay was absolutely wonderful for my wife and I. Fantastic amenities, including the Hot Tub/Spa. Very secluded and a beautiful view of the mountains, with the town of Burnsville not far away, it makes it easy to commute back forth if needed. The beds were comfortable, the gas kitchen stove is wonderful, and the shower was nice and hot. Also, if you love wildlife, there's plenty of deer for your viewing pleasure. Would recommend 10/10.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mark's cabin in North Carolina. From the moment we arrived, Mark made us feel so welcome and at home. Communication was clear, friendly, and prompt, and every detail of the cabin showed how much care was put into making guests comfortable. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and perfect for a relaxing getaway with the spa jacuzzi. It had everything we needed and more, making it easy to unwind and truly enjoy the serene beauty that surrounds you at this cabin. Best getaway spot ever!

This was the best stay I've ever had. The house and property are goegeous!! Mark was a wonderful host and clearly takes pride in sharing his property and giving folks a great experience. My favorite part was relaxing in the hottub and the amazing views from the porch. The house has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing stay. I can not wait to visit again!

I had an amazing time! It was just what I wanted. Mark, the host, went above and beyond! I was so amazed at the service: the amenities, the peace, the quiet. Clean and So Quiet

This was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever rented. The house is very, very nice. It was spotless and very well-appointed. Mark was extremely friendly. We loved the hot tub!!! It was an excellent vacation, and we will definitely be coming back!!

Wedding Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I visited 1108 Riddle Branch Road for the 3rd time and it was a very relaxing vacation. The cabin was very clean and the furnishings were extremely comfortable. The hot tub was so relaxing and the mountain views were spectacular! Our host, Mark, took us on a "restoration tour" of Burnsville in his UTV and it is amazing how much progress has been made by local, state and federal authorities on restoring the roadways and bridges. Thank you for another special getaway, Mark!

Cabin was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Hot tub was great. Mark, the owner of the property is fantastic. Super friendly and easy to deal with. Took the time to point out the features of the property. Would absolutely recommend this place to all looking, do not hesitate to book it.
